The only popular fairy tale Disney could not copy and sanitize into a Disney Classic because of how disturbing it is.
To be completely honest I wouldn't put it past them to try. They sanitized Pocahontas real bad, to the point she in the movie is unrecognizable from her real and incredibly awful story.
There's a pretty good Silly Symphonies of Hansel and Gretel, starring Mickey and Minnie. Look it up!
Grerman fary tells are like like that @molybed1
Hansel and Gretel is based on a real story. But in the actual happenings the step mother is the hero and the children are evil.
Well, they should try because they just keep re-making Disney classics and doing a terrible job of it. They used to be innovative and amazing, now they're obsessed with being "woke".
I like the beautiful art work and the narrator's accent
The Brothers Grimm. Never fail to entertain.
The artistry is so beautiful
The artistry is truly beautiful, reminiscent of the lovely pictures that graced the fairytale literature of my youth.
i love this first version. the sister is the one who leads the boy and he admires her. the use of the glowing stones was new along with the duck. there are no gingerbread children, but the rest is a version I’ve heard, even the duck again.
the illustrations are beautifully painted by a talented artist. The narrator is brilliant! 🌷🌱
The use of herbs🌿is so interesting and they would have been used back then. (in the stories of Cadfael during the Crusades, as a monk, he had charge of the garden, grew and used herbs to heal.) The use of herbs was a normal part of life.
Thank you so much. Looking forward to the other tales. 🏰
Of course your stories will be dark when your name is Grimm. Loved the one of Cinderella, much better than Disney's
So beautiful!!! Thank you!
Perfect narration and absolutely beautiful artwork.❤❤
Wonderful story ~ thank you🌷
Just subscribed
I'm not keen on the narrator . Other than that , I always enjoy hearing the Brothers Grimm fairy stories
❤ amazing , i just showed this to my two young children ( 5 and 6 ) just before bed time 😂, they loved it , thank you
I just have to say , how beautifull this is ! The look of the stained glass windows are gorgeous, and make the story all the more magical to watch & listen.❤ Thank you for making these videos , They're a pleasure to watch🌲🌹🦉
Didn’t know Hansel was so ineffectual
I think I like for haunting our version. Much better.
Great story from the pictures to the background music I love it,I swear school had a different version of this story every time, I believe the stepmother was the evil witch
Thank you so much! :)
I LOVE THE GRAPHIC KINGDOM
STORY IT IS TRULY AWESOME TO LEARN FROM AUTHENTIC VOICES THANKS□
And we love you for leaving such an awesome comment!
I know that in some versions, the stepmother is related to the Witch. In some versions, the stepmother wants the kids gone when she becomes pregnant.
Oh, that sounds interesting. We didn't even know that version yet. Thank you
Those are new sanitized versions
In the original there's a famine and he can't bring himself to kill them so he leaves them to die
This is gorgeous 🥰
The step-mother of the two children is quite beautiful, and I do not know why she chose the Father of the two children, who had many ugly tattoos on his arms 😢
That art is full of soul.
its ai a real person didnt draw it
@@Percimations I weep.
@@theyellowarchitect4504 You can tell by the hands.
How so?
If we were to consider if this tale were based upon an actual event… then we would also have to consider what actually happened and what the gingerbread house actually meant?
Which would be an interesting research.
I hate how Disney ruined many of the stories I knew as a child. 💥
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤amen
The narrator voice sounds very familiar ❤

The Father of the two children with his horrible 😤 tattoos on his arms presents a horrible image 😢
Why do they have six fingers?
Because it was made by AI not a human.
@@dijaaaa_08 So much for AI!!!
@@SarahlabyrinthLHC 😂😂
I just learned something new. Thank u😮😮😮
@@ironbutterfly6835 no problem 😌
will you do goldilocks and alice in wonderland?
Yes, we will. :)
Why do thry all have 6 fingers?
Thank you for noticing that! I thought I was losing my mind! 😂😂😂😂 You must draw. I do too. I think that’s why we noticed.
More finger food for the witch.
AI can't understand fingers. That's why.
No, it's a witchy thing. Our local witch who lives deep in the forest has 6 fingers too. Apparently it's all the rage these days among the eldritch folk.
Your butchering the pronunciation of Hänsel und Grätels name!
False. This is NOT THE Grimm version
then what is
Maybe the step mom just wants to have a private time with the father. You know what I'm talking about hehehe.
It's the witch itself

God didn’t save them they saved them 🤣🤣🤣
❤The Christian God had to come down to earth to impregnate an engaged 14-year-old to make a loophole in the rules he created to save us from himself. Jesus is as real and as powerful as, Pinocchio Amen 🙏🙏🙏👏✨️🙌✨️✨️👏🙏🙏🙏👏🙌✨️♥️♥️✌🏼🙌👏✨️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.

I don't like how Hansel is presented as some kind of a moron. In the ORIGINAL story both children loved, cared for and supported each other and contributed to the happy ending. In this version the girl takes the initiative in every decision and drags her brother out of every bad situation. He is inert, happy-go-lucky kind of stupid, who is entirely reliant on her (whereas in the original story he was the one to come with the plan how to bring them back home in the beginning of the story). Now, I do realise that the new agenda "boys - bad, girls - good" has to be upheld and promoted. Men need to be shown how women are so much better, knowledgeable, courageous and what not. Yay! Girl power! Who do you think you're fooling? Yes, women are amazing in so many ways, but that doesn't come at the expense of men. Your story telling is crap, says a woman.
First of all, it would be nice if they weren't so insulting. We also don't believe that we want to fool anyone with our work. That can hardly be possible with a fairytale story. We don't understand the story as you have described it. Hansel is also an important character in the story. He retains his courage and optimism and takes care of his sister. Incidentally, the Brothers Grimm wrote many strong female characters. We are happy to discuss them and we are also happy to receive criticism, but please do so respectfully and without insults.
Um, no
In all versions Gretel is the wise one and leader. It's white witch against red.
Gretel is also the feminine ideal shrewd and fore thinking. Even willing to kill to protect her family. Unlike the stepmother and witch.
Technically, Gretel is the hero of the story as it is she who eventually must outwit the hag and save Hansel. I understand what you are saying about the Grimms story, but let's remember that the Brothers Grimm did not write the stories, they collected and published folklore so if, in their adaption, the male was the stronger figure, that was only their interpretation. They were attempting to preserve stories that had, until then, been handed down orally so there are many adaptions no less 'authentic' than theirs. It's ridiculous to assume that this adaption is an attempt to emasculate men or slide in a feminist agenda.
