    🚨 NOTE: At 6:49 I said 'lace' lasts 8+ months. I meant to say 'silk' lasts 8+ months. Apologies for the misunderstanding - my ADHD causes me to say the wrong word occasionally! 🙏

      Adam I have noticed that sometimes you get over excited about Hair Systems and I tease you about it but there is nothing wrong with that and you are a good Guy who wants to help people and I think that people like you so if you make a mistake sometimes it is not a big deal man and people who wear their Hair already know what they need and what works for them and you just kind of confirm that we are right about it.

    • @Mohdr90
      @Mohdr90 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@HairSystemDIY not at all. Once every 2-3 months I also use henna dye or any kind of coloured shampoo dye on my system. Since I have black bio hair it’s not been much of an issue for me personally.

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  Před 4 měsíci

      @Mohdr90 ah cool. Yes black hair doesn’t really lighten. Lucky you! 😁

    french lace piece lasted me 2 years and that's a long stretch .. but usually 1 year if you remove daily. poly wont last especially they tear quick.. 36 year hair wearer.. good content spot on !!👍 Tape adhesion not glue. French last longer...

    • @pagzplay
      @pagzplay Před 4 měsíci

      You would need to use Tape and remove it Daily for it to last that long because that is a lot of Rebonding and Glue would affect how long it lasts. But it is great to take your Hair off at least sometimes and let your Head get some Airflow too so I agree with you on that.

    Hi bro, wearing the tyler at the moment. It is a decent system and i love the realistic scalp apperance when you part the hair. But its so much hotter I find over lace! 🥵

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  Před 3 měsíci +1

      It’s def hotter than lace bro. It’s primarily because it has a 3-layered formula in the middle. Makes the scalp super realistic but it does mean the base is hotter. I’m wearing mine right now in summer and it is definitely hot! 😂

  • @pagzplay
    @pagzplay Před 4 měsíci

    I like a Mono and Poly perimeter Cap because you get a more realistic Scalp and it can last six months or longer. I don't really care if it is comfortable like wearing all lace because without Hair I wear a Hat so I just want it to be durable and better to Rebond it. All Lace and all Thin Skin can be weak and not hold up when you need to Rebond it after awhile and the Lace can rip in spots.

    Hey Adam, thx for sharing.
    I have a question: you said you've been wearing this one for several months now. Do you take off and on every day? or do you wear it for days/weeks in a row? how and how often do you wash your head, aka scalp?

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  Před 4 měsíci

      I usually wear it non stop for 10-14 days. I wash and exfoliate my scalp after I remove it and before I re-attach

    Yes but the hair also starts to get very dry and hard to style. I know from experience that by 10 weeks the hair itself just looks bad.

    • @pagzplay
      @pagzplay Před 4 měsíci

      Thin Skin and Mono patches on the top and back are the most Realistic Scalp but you need to find a Hair System that has this because they are all different I found out.

      Swiss Lace

    • @dd-io4ow
      @dd-io4ow Před 3 měsíci

      @@HairSystemDIYi dont understand it cause from youtube the most realistic i see are thin skin. Do you mean that hairline looks more real with lace? But when someone looks from above he sees the lace

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  Před 3 měsíci +1

      @dd-io4ow the lace blends with your skin colour much better. It is also possible to “bleach the knots” in a lace system, and that makes it appear like the hair is coming from your scalp. Both Swiss and French lace give the most realistic hairline
