They sound different, but are they actually?

A few things you may like to know. First thank you for making this video. Good job done. I have loads of cheap microphones. Lots of bm700 - 800. Neewer 700-800-1500. Ilike playing nice I am 64 and play with and experiment a lot with them. Do not want to break my nice mics. Ill health housebound. Two things Even if the metal plate on the actual capsule have minute differences it effects the sound a lot. I get mine every few months off Amazon uk. If you look every day as I do. They do offers like crazy offers. I bought four 800 the whole kit sound card, stand, sponge and little sound card for less than £8.00 a full set. As time has gone by I have noticed they are putting really small circuit boards in these mics. Not even the size of a childs thumb. Still sound ok mind. Plus some other makes have no circuit board at all. Just straight from the plug to the capsule. But they work ok still. I turned two of mine into dynamic mics just for a laugh and they work great. Keep up the good work. Ps I like Linux as well.

Hey! Awesome, it is always great to have a Hobbie, there are so many things to think of for MIC sound I don't think I could cover all of it. I'm just happy the Neewer MIC I got sounded better than my headset mic, if you see the first few videos you can really tell the difference. I have the MIC Dialed to where is sound good. I was very surprised at how simple the circuit board was, I though it was going to be much more circuitry inside.

I think the 03/20 and 05/20 numbers on the electrolytic caps are the component manufacture dates (wk 3, 2020 & wk5 , 2020) . the silkscreen values and voltage ratings are the same ?

Hi, Can you post the sizes of the caps on the back. I am not completely sure except those look like they are using them as tone filters. Thanks.
