    I'm going to use this vid as a guide to fix my rear left brake.
    It's not yet stuck on the disk. But as soon as the parts have heated up you'll find me on the side of the road.
    The garage says nothing is wrong, or they cant find the issue.
    I'm willing to bet that the 2 months of not moving at all caused the brake to seize up.
    Might just go ahead and check all 4 sides myself.

      @ReeceHud Před 3 lety

      @@GeorgeAusters I'm noticing my disc getting pretty hot with excessive brake dust on the wheel. So assumed it was the piston. Looked inside the piston seal, was slightly rusty so was all cleaned out and is functioning as it should and moving freely. But recently it has started to drag again. I learned the flexi hoses can clog up inside, causing the fluid to not return, which causes sticking. So hoping a replacement will fix my issue.

New brake pads and lines. Had replaced the handbrakes not to long ago. So everything is like new in the back. Idk why but rear of the car especially bmw calipers seems to rust the fuck up.
    Btw i used a huge pipe wrench and caliper in wise to twist the piston out. Used such force i was sure i gulled the inside of cylinder. But it was fine. When i had sandblasted them they looked brand new. Unbelievable
