@@oldschoolromano5056 Ok the 02 version would work too. I think the fuel injection on those models would be so hard to install, considering they are almost the same bike. Maybe you would need to change the electrical wiring and MAYBEE the tank to accommodate the fuel pump.
I’m riding a ‘02 FZ1 now, never rode a R1 but I’d love to try a 1st gen R1 to see the differences.

if i would have a bike like this... i definitly would try to put the 2003 fuel inyection system... is day and night difference.
