i remember canadian jack black making the bumper for this, wonder how he's doing
He just restarted his channel I think.

Link?
Do you mean what happened to Stefan Meier? Don't know.
I do miss seeing him on the channel. I'm nor sure if Rich has ever said why he's not around or not.
When you build a custom cooling system, every single highspot should get a small fitting. Tie them all together and into the top of your fill resovior, along with your steam ports. The resovior should have a 5/8-3/4“ hose off the bottom to the water pump suction side or an aux electric pump pushing into the bottom side circuit. It will constantly bleed the system of air at all high spots. So when you lift a head and start coughing exhaust into the cooling system or boil the piss out of it you will stay cool until you run out of water.
Yay, Quattro Debocho is back! It's the project that brought me to the channel, such a cool build!
This has long been my favorite car on your channel. Happy to see it getting more attention.
Gotta be my favourite racing car of all time, love that it's still a retro 4 door saloon, just the most insane version of a 4 door saloon possible.
This was the build that made me a Deboss fan, awesome to see this on a track and making multiple laps!!
I tried out Debocho in Assetto! It actually drives really well and was a lot of fun to throw around.
When this car is done, I’d love to see Thomas from Throttle House set a lap time in it at Dunnville!
Holy cow how did this video slip past me for 2 days, man oh man am I glad to see your creation that got me following your channel in the first place getting some love Rich 👌🏻
I finally saw the Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashas reference ! Nicely done :-)
That smoke in the front is nothing to worry about - because it is horsepower smoke. 😁😁😁
You NEED to open the ring gaps!
I love to see this car get driven, preferably in an event of some sort.
The hammer wagon was so cool, though i think id do a diesel straight 6cyl merc engine w/ mech pump and turbo upgrade. Or a 2jz swap.
This car's got 99 problems but, Rich ain't one!
Hard work always pays off, even if it's for a little reward 👍👌 awsome work guy's
"It was a good day!" - NICE!
That is awesome how fast you can take out the engine and replace it so quickly. You planed that engine in and out to go smoothly. Good video
Too bad you never got to try it vs ken Block in something comparable. I always thought I'd get to see that. Damn. Anyhow, you've made a hell of a car.
Your enthusiasm and typical Dutchman work ethic are an outstanding combo as is the sound of that Audi, wow…like a NASCAR lol
Thanks man
It would be convenient to have that engine bleed connected to the header tank at the back, but the plumbing would be a hassle!
In F1 they have different flaps at the back for different tracks depending on ICE thermal load.
You need to safety wire the coolant cap? Open pipe to ground...
A lot of your projects pose thermal decisions - even EV. I like this project - even if not practical for a pickup.
Could you attach small bleed lines from the high points that build air, with check valves? Then route thoes lines to the bottle.
It’s good to see it back!
This is my favourite vehicle of your fleet, glad to see it getting some love, screen time, and track time. I enjoy the long running builds where vehicles keep getting improved bit by bit until they're epic (and unique). Maybe I have a long attention span?
Whatever happened to that Mercedes wagon? From recollection you'd purchased it back ... is it in the wings waiting for Phase 2 (or are we up to Phase 27)?
Phase 2. I'm going to remove the turbo (too much heat) and it needs a posi
Yeah, great, finaly the quattro debocho is back 😍👍
What you do is awesome !!! 😁 🇨🇦
Rich, so is all of this a precursor for setting your butt in a Cletus Freedom 500 Crown vic?
Damn Vince! I know you probably have exhaust but how do you not wear a respirator for the aluminum vapor?
Im glad to see this one back on the channel. Great work!
Now, where is the LS boat content?
Unfortunately, as the boat is in fully working condition, I'm going to have to do the swap this winter. I want the bronco and Silverado done first
You failed to install a fully charged Milwaukee 12 volt battery under the driver seat. I hope this does not affect performance in the future. 😂
My coach couldn't drive it because he is a foot shorter than me
Man been watching for long time I remember the whole build hahaha
“Built to suit” I’m pretty sure that’s the long way of saying “Bespoke” or is that a fancy way to say “Built to suit” 🤔
Loving all the content keep up the great work. Much respect from 🇦🇺👍
18:04, if Rich doesn't know what he's doing in 2018, then I must REALLY have not damn clue, lol.
What’s the steering like on that car, is the steering rack input slow or fast, OEM or modified? I have the later model Audi which requires more steering input.
I think your hose pipe was causing bubbles and creating air in the system.
Cool build 😎👍
Quattro Debocho needs to go to Pikes Peak Hill climb!!! Project car challenge to conquering America’s mountain. Do it!
That is the end goal, but I need some licences and seat time first
Looking good 👍👍
I strongly recommend the vacuum type coolant fill
4:10 You should make that a spring door there should be enough vacuum over the back end of the car to keep that flapper closed for your coolant access
Never told us if the water issue is now fully resolved.
Man I thought it would have been countersunk with a door over top of it. Then the relief line coming out beside the door
Why didn't you build a swirl pot into the overflow?
When you going do something with the old green C30 diesel?
When the bronco and Silverado are going down the road so very soon
Minty 👌
The best car channel
if that's so then why are the views so low , dudes got almost 900,000 subs and most videos barely reach 50,000 views, i don't get it either , i actually really like the content on this channel im trying to figure out why they aren't getting the views , its sad , channels that actually finish projects and do big projects get shit views but channels like tacarish and samceac never finish anything unless it's a one video project and they get 400,000 or 1000,0000 views on every video 🤷🏻♂️ people have such a short attention span
Yeah, the algorithm has been tough to us. I also don't like to act. Channels that take on a persona seem to do better, but I just want to focus on building.
I could really take that build to a whole nother level, with a full tube Chromoly chassis, and lose a ton of weight.
Cardboard Aided Design
You know turning the AC on over 30MPH gives better fuel economy over opening the windows 🤔
I would have definitely replaced the windshield. That haze would drive me nuts
Its dirty lol. She's spotless once you wipe it down
You’ve learned the art of over complicating things, german engineers would be proud 💀
Javohl herr commandant....synthetic since 40 ish...😎
Never heard of vacuum fill?
when you get all the kinks out you need to put it on a dyno - you should actually have your own dyno - maybe you and vince could fab one - would be a money maker #verify
Why aren't you pulling vacuum at the high point..??...fill at that fitting.....a quick connect low would enable less air introduced while filling.....
Here!
Is this Canada catalyst, the vw parts supplier??
@@danemclaren5678 yes!
👍
Rich you could have fixed all 99 problems in one take ? Lift the Rap and replace all under it 😂😂
So like Pinky and the Brain? Have a perfect plan of action with one wrong decision and just scrap 2000 hours of work. Got it! I'll put it on the trailer and head to V&R
😎👍
audiiiiiiiiiiiiii fk yeahh lets goo

Wait. You're telling me I only need 50 000 subscribers for $1000/month?
Nice!
I'm building a zero dollar race car with 8 subscribers.
Subscibers is the least important metric to tell you anything related to income, but it's a reference point for us in 2018.
Fixed 99 problems but shifting ain't one
That's the dog box in the last episode.
@@DEBOSSGARAGE right on I picked up a6 2.7tt basically the engine cradle suspension and all that stuff, had plans on putting it in a sandrail but the project has been put on hold for a lil bit
The cars got 99 problems but a B .. rakes ain’t one … maybe
It stops extremely well. The hydroboost from a 1 ton Chevy works very well with SRT8 Brembo rotors and calipers. Who knew?
I'm sorry but it's just a push rod engine
I'm sorry that you think your opinion is valued so highly.
100's of thousands of hot rods and sports cars are successfully built with this platform.
@@danielkingery2894 never said in the comments that my opinion was valued, push rod engines are a thing of the past it's a fact not an opinion
@@benschlack5814 you must be here for his hybrid content then?
@@benschlack5814 and there you are again valuing your opinion so highly that you think it's a fact.
Know what else are "things of the past"... airplane wings, boats with hulls, jet engines, and sails....all old technology, but just like 'push rod engines', they are all going to be around doing work and offering recreation for a long, long time.
Go Troll elsewhere.
Not trolling 😂😂 I'm a subscriber. Chevrolet and Chrysler use pushrod engines because they are cheap and suck. They both retooled and created " new engines LS, and hemi and left them pushrod because they are cheap and lazy. No pushrod engine will stay together very long with aftermarket boost. Your just an idiot
