Thank you for the idea to use a dedicated sketchbook for figure drawing and painting. I've always wondered why it seems females are more often models for the nude subjects? I rarely,, if ever, see a nude male in a live drawing session. It's just odd.

Dear Paula, thank you! The thing is, during the academic education and the anatomy learning, only male models are used, which permit to explore the construction and muscles of the subject. And all this knowledge is then used to depict female form, which is more ideal and aesthetic, in my humble opinion.
