Can someone explain what does wild card player mean ?
Why & how is Bogdan Deac is a wild card player here ?

In the Tour there are 9 core players that will play both classical events and at least two of the rapid and blitz events. Then there are wildcard players outside of those 9 that can also be invited to events. “Wildcard” just means that the player isn’t one of the 9 core players. For example, Magnus was a wildcard player at the blitz and rapid event in Poland.

its the time control, this tournoment has the longest time so it makes sense that players play more accurate and draw more often
