Have you made sure that the tyres are fully inflated. Flat tyres will make the scooter feel less stable. Scooter tips due to bad cambers are a common issue across all scooter types and users need to judge the surface and drive accordingly. Rather like riding a bike sometimes the user needs to lean a little on a scooter.

@@barbarablakely8923 sorry that's not sharable information. But the upshot of the issue is reimbursement by or from medicare and to that the answer is "NO". The reason is that although people with certain disabilities MAY use this and others similar to it, people without mobility diagnoses can also use for things like airports, malls, grocery, at home or, for some people due to obesity or a general lack of interest in walking around home, neighborhood,etc- because it's not a medical use only item, the government won't pay. Many private insurance companies build their guidelines on medicare/medicaid rules and that alone means they won't pay. Per guidelines, if government won't pay it's legal for private insurance to also deny. Some merchants online offer low interest financing but not all. The people who aren't at all needful of a device like this keeps those of us who DO NEED them stuck with few if any ways to pay except out of pocket. Good luck finding a scooter you can afford. You can always ASK but be aware your claim will probably be denied.
