  • This Pennsylvania TRX with our 1000 HP Performance Package includes a factory supercharger ported by Kong Performance to increase air flow creating impressive gains. Customer previously had this TRX compound boosted with the factory supercharger and a twin turbo kit only making 615RWHP when it showed up. For this and other reasons the customer wanted to remove the turbos and go with our reliable and more powerful package the LMR TRX 1000.

    We have the same kit on our TRX and we are making 871RWHP on 93 octane. When you dyno’ed the truck you must not have been moving enough air under the truck. The Turbos must have been sucking up dirty air when the waste gates opened up. That happens when the truck is stationary on the dyno. When the truck is driving down the road that doesn’t happen. I’ll line our trucks up at a local strip and run our compound boost setup against that truck. $10k best of 3

      Is there a way to install the TT kit without beefing up the engine? I wanna push 1K rwhp without blowing my engine, is it possible?

    They may have focused on boost rather than airflow. It is airflow that creates power, not boost. Boost is simply a byproduct of airflow.

      What a terrible job Rippatune did on this truck! Who the fuck just slaps a compound turbo set up on a truck that’s supercharged already without doing any simple bolt ons before hand? I can see if they did that after already exhausting all options and going for an all out max effort set up but this is just stupid. Th eh clearly tried ripping dude off and they succeeded. And to use non oiled turbos!?? wtf! I hope people see this and stay far away from that shop. What a dam joke

      If you’re gonna go “compound” boost on a trx or hellkitty you go Hellion turbo, not ripoff tune. Very different results, ask Weston Chaplin about that or watch his video lol a max blower trx is still one badass ride! Sweet truck!

      That tt kit makes 750whp on my dyno and has ran 10.9s on 93. Something isn't adding up here

    A simple ported blower, i.d 1300, boost a pump e85 with a pinned lower and 2.7 upper will make 850 wheel and run 10.80

    Adding compound boost for what ended up being a very small gain makes no sense to me at all.

    I have 640rwhp with the Dusterhoff dt877 kit, imagine having less than that with 2 turbos.

    Something had to be wrong if an extra set or turbos only made 615RWHP, I believe stock is 565 to 585 range.

    Do you worry about intake temps with that intake? It looks awesome. Gotta guess you want want as much air as possible as fast as possible without plastic tubing and restrictions.

    Anyone have experience with Hellion and their TT kit that removes the SC? I’m looking at their twin 62 kit with the billet manifold and an interchiller

    Something is not adding up… The Ripa TTRX kit runs 10.6s stock weight, stock tires.

    If youre going to Twin Turbo your TRX go with Hellion Turbos, Ripatune has been screwing people that cant come all the way to their shop... Hellion on the other hand includes tuning and detailed instructions and doesn't require cutting or customizing!

      Stock RWHP is about 551….or 702 at the crank

    wait a second......something is not adding up here. why would a customer add turbo to a supercharged truck without going with a full bolt-on that would make 900whp. just an upper, lower, injector, pumps, ported intake and supercharged on E85. This customer just wanted to waste his money and Ripa should have told him what to do without installing turbos. the truck should have made 580whp or more stock without any freaking mods. Please explain this to me. i will wait.....

      Not if the supercharger can’t spin fast enough to accommodate the added boost from the turbos.

      so why add turbos if the supercharger has not been maxed out and it has been proven to make 800-900whp on those truck with just bolt-on. I blame both parties here.

      Exactly it doesn’t make sense. Rippatune are a bunch of scammers. They clearly just made a ton of profit off this poor guy. To put on twin turbos on a supercharged truck when you could just do some simple bolt ons to get even more power efficiently for much cheaper. It’s a scam and they need to be put on blast. This is the worst thing I’ve seen in the car industry and people need to know they can’t be trusted. And they used non oiled turbos!!😂😂😂😂😂😂

      ​@Heavy_M3 satera tuning has whole video on why you would go compound boost route over just FBO. In short you can make just as much power as a FBO blower setup without putting a bunch of extra stress on the blower. Yes the FBO route is cheaper but the compound setup is for those looking for maximum adjustability. No pulley swaps to change boost levels & you can just turn it up if you decide to build the motor for more boost. Im not the expert but they have a whole video on compound boost pros/cons & this build was unfortunately all cons
