I'm just blown away by the standard of craftsmanship of the deck. The fittings are truly beautiful, I imagine you boughtbthem, but maybe I'm gonna be corrected?!
Trully mazing work but how did you do to imitate the curved planking of the deck ? I mean how did you trace those lines initially ? using which tool or measurement device ? Also regarding the brass (?) chainplates, did you manufacture those yourself ? If yes were you able to source ready made items that required minimla mofidication or did you need to do it all by yourself from scratch ? I wish I could do the same but am at a loss in finding out how to get that result regarding both issues above.
Hi, each plank is ripped on a table saw then flexed into position while trimming each end and CA'ed or glued into place one at a time with black construction paper placed between each plank for a caulked look.
