lol I don't even play wow since mop or any bliz game but I knew when I seen they pushed P4 back it had to be so bad if they said maybe we shouldn't put this out then dropped the untested half ass worked on mop remix thing. I can tell you right now there isn't no PTR testing that is going to help bliz make it any better. This is bliz guys bliz and they said damn we shouldn't put this out. When it does come out it won't be fun and won't be good now people will play it on PTR and not want to do it live after seeing how trash it's going to be. Dealing with bliz is like having a guy in your room each morning when you wake up he hits you in the face then sells you a bag of ice but as he hands it to you he dumps the ice out and says it's coming later see you tomorrow. That's what dealing with bliz is like.

EXACTLY = who in the hell is excited for MC with just new "items" :D in the end it is still MC which we all did like millions of times. Blizzard needs to bring in a new raid with new content.
A nerf needs to come to shamans, or a buff needs to come to other classes...or give the ally shamans and the horde paladins.
Honestly need season of mastery mechanics to be done to the raids at the very least
totally with you. I dont care about stupid runes or any of that shit. Give us NEW content, NEW zones. A vanilla twist on Uldum would be sick, show us the dragon isles, a gilneas raid.
New zones and new raids get consumed by the locust of players asap and then people ask for more. They should add new stuff but just realize it'll never be enough
none of the stuff is "new" anyways
they are all retail spells moved over, its not like they even had to do anything new or creative

I am ready for Phase 4 SOD, it's what brought A LOT of players back to WoW and I am really hoping for some in-depth changes from the SOD team.

SoD has to do something insane in P4 to revive itself because with Cata out and most of the runes being abilities from Cata and later, people can just play Cata and use those abilities but with 100x better class design and actually fun raids.
I think the expectations are too high and I don't think there will be a new instance in phase4. I think new content could possibly be new epic recipe, passive skills you will be able to change between the races. Boss event may well be unique content that is introduced? which teams up for, and there drops very good gear. If we talk new instances? like the crypt from karazhan i think that something coming much later! like after naxxramas.
Any person who thinks developers have been working on SoD over the past 2 months is a fool. It’s the same team that works on era/HC/ and obviously Cata which is a bigger item for blizzard. Yes, you’ve been teased with a few updates and screenshots when p3 released, but there’s a reason they went completely silent for 2 months.
That said, they obviously have a road map and they obviously have new stuff coming to SoD, but some people’s expectations are unreal and I wish I was as optimistic. I, personally would be happy enough to see a lot of revamped items/new runes/1 or 2 new 10/20 man raids and perhaps the abolishment of 40mans down to 20s. Revamped dungeon loot so we get our Prebis journey going and not walk into MC with ST gear will be a big win and maybe some new rep rewards from factions.
Give me that and I’m massively happy!

Why would TWW beta have anything to do with SoD? Completely separate teams and budgets.
Instead of runes they should just make new abilities or other less used runes baseline

The real fact is, the only classic enjoyers are classic era, hc, and sod players (who want sod to be classic+ not retail). Cata players are on the retail train. Mop remix is a side arpg take on retail. And retail is a husk of its former self. The mmorpg genre is abysmal for a lot of reasons. Vanilla is peak design as mmorpg.
SoD lost it's momentum 6 hours after P3 released when everyone hit max level from incursions. Now players get to look forward to spending their time getting world buffs and embellishing their WoW Indeed page in hopes of getting a group for ST.
P4 get ready for Hunter Melee Tanks :) hellz yas
I want new tier sets. Go do MC. And an extra side raid. Im looking forward to MC but mostly the new gear especially since im playing a class in a spec that was never good in classic era. If you're just a warrior, mage, rogue or warlock, its not exciting at all. Every hybrid though doesnt have to heal

You knew what you were getting into with phases leading up to level. There is no way they could have kept things going until the 60 phase

Idk about you guys, but the older I get the more I don't care about others opinions on video games I play when it comes to "dying games" area.
Everyone has this "dooms day" type of thought process when games slow down and its weird to me.
We aren't even at the end game content, the leveling raids were great for me and my friends.
I'm excited for phase 4 and some new "end game" content.
It's SoD and I have been saying this I do not want MC and all those classic raids updated too much, LETS SEE SOME NEW CONTENT BLIZZARD.

I don’t really like sod, so they can take as long as they like because I’m not even 50 yet. I play like 1 hour a week lol. I think I’m close to 46 so if they give me another 2 weeks I can get to 50. I’m probably the only person cheering the devs for the slow phase.

@@jorghaider7202 I had my era toon forced into tbc and deleted. When I came back to play the toon it couldn’t be copied. So I’m taking advantage of the leveling perks to get this one to 60 and then when the season ends copy into era.

With SoD, they went exactly the same direction than cata, so with the release of cata there is almost no need to play SoD anymore. Quite honestly, everything SoD does, cata does it better (most of the abilities are the same but classes are more balanced, new challenging raids and dungeons, new zones, etc...).
The players rushing the devs to launch SoD content is why the last two phases have been terrible. Let the do their jobs and go play something else.
I agree. Especially with it being the final phase of sod, blizzard NEEDS to take their time and make sure they get all their ducks in a row
That’s how MMO’s die, people leave and say I’ll come back next update and guess what they don’t come back most of the time. Stop giving a 74 billion dollar company a pass to do the bare minimum yet again

Nobody is giving them a pass but you have to be realistic. 1-2 months to test new classes and content while also working on Cata is a joke. We need a few weeks of PTR at the minimum, even if we aren’t getting new content in the first round of 60.
I think a lot of people forget that WoW only had one version years ago and content turnaround was even longer.

First of all its two different teams working on SOD and CATA so no they don't have there hands full on CATA.
And so fair the ''new" content has been more miss than hit so what ever they are doing is not working and you are coping if you think it will magically get better at 60.
I think you forget that when WoW only had one version years ago it took people months to clear the content if they did at all, not days or even hours like today

To be honest, I'm not hype for SoD anymore and that since the start of S2... I think SoD has shape itself (and so the playerbase and streamers) to a tryhard shitshow.
I was hype to discover new things in the game that i love so much but instead it lead itself to a speedrun contest and a parsing dick showing competition with minimum requirements to enter.
When I realise that, if I didn't mold myself into this, I will be unable to do any raid or group content, I just quit. Because it's just not in the spirit of "classic"... If I want to push ilvl, dps, keys ect .. I go on retail and it's fun but on retail. When I want to be immersed into a world I go classic, that not the case anymore with SoD, and that sad ... 🙁

LOL... people are missing the point... level 1-60 was to introduce new systems & game play... everyone is treating it like it's end game content. Now... it is Blizzards fault for make these phases so long... because never has it taken me 8 months to get to 50... never has blizzard developed & released so many game(s)/modes in 8 months. When level 60 content is released... it will be fine for a few months but once everyone is through with the new... its back to the old content... they will be back to their ADHD selves and cry because it wasnt what they wanted/expected. You content creators are also to blame because 90% of players do not have the means to play the game for 8+hrs... so you move through content really fast... and i would probably say 50% of them follow the content creators whether they finished the content or not.
SoD copium. Phase 4 will be fun for a few weeks but I am not expecting to be "blown away". Cata is pretty damn good right now. They did some nice testing with SoD for a future Classic+ in 2+ years. Thank you beta testers. This sounds like pure Copium. Step away, step away. It is a long beta test. Take it for what it is.
