My Italian grandma always made this salad for me😍! Few ingredients, quick to make

Ingredients:
170g noodles (6 oz)
(I used spelled, you can also use wheat, wholemeal, lentils or other types of pasta)
2 cloves of garlic
1 onion
2-3 tomatoes
Handful of basil
1 mozzarella (approx. 125g / 4.5 oz)
4 spoons of (olive) oil
2 spoons of vinegar
Salt pepper
I make the sauce at the beginning so that the garlic can simmer. The noodles can be served hot or cold. The salad will keep in the fridge for several days. In Italy we often eat this in the summer when it is warm. But since it tastes so good to us, we often eat it throughout the year because it's ready in just a few minutes, it's so delicious and it tastes like Italy.

Mir hat eine Italienerin mal gesagt in den Tomatensalat immer eine Prise Zucker mit rein , damit die Tomate ihr Aroma besser entfalten kann. Sie hat es auch bei allen anderen Tomatengerichten gemacht, wie ich gesehen habe. Seitdem mache ich dies auch so.
Kenne ich auch so. Macht den Salat weich und rund.

Ich liebe Nudelsalat und habe schon einige,gute Rezepte ausprobiert. Dein Rezept kenne ich so ähnlich😊, nur noch mit Baby- Spinat,getrocknete Tomaten und geröstete Pinienkerne und ab und zu mache ich den mit Feta anstatt mit Mozzarella. Das schmeckt auch sehr lecker und länger als 1-2 Tage überlebt er selten,weil sich alle drauf stürzen.❤😂
I make this all the time. A recipe of my great grandmother who was also Italian. But I saute all the added ingredients and I never use vinegar. Taste great and is easy to make.
I wouldn’t use vinegar for a salad like this either. But I do add some chopped dill relish.
So, you make a completely different salad, using some of the same ingredients. Thanks for that.

Switch the basil with dill, switch the mozzarella with feta, add diced cucumbers and sliced black olives. Now it's a Greek pasta salad!
If you switch every ingredient, it becomes a different dish. If you turn off the light, it becomes dark.

Ciao, das sieht lecker aus.. mein Großvater väterlicherseits aus Puglia in Süditalien hatte damals einen leckeren Salat abends zubereitet.. dazu paar Kartoffeln kochen, abpellen und vierteln, Paprika und Peperonici in Streifen schneiden und in viel Olivenöl anbraten, Tomaten vierteln, alles zusammen in eine Schüssel geben, paar Knoblauchzehen klein schneiden, dazu geben, alles vermischen, noch bissle Olivenöl und Salz dazu und anrichten.. ich liebe es vor allem, mit Weißbrot im Olivenöl zu dippen.. liebe Grüße aus Braunschweig und bleibt gesund 🙂

I use Tricolor pasta which includes regular & tomato & green vegetables pasta then colorful veggies❣️Then I saturate with Italian Salad Dressing that is spicy but not TOO much oil? Ohhh refrigerate a few hours… a COOL meal on a Hot day❣️No cooking just a bowl & fork 🤩🥳🤠🇺🇸
