  • Imagine a world where you can walk into a room with 20 people speaking five different languages and you have a simultaneous translation happening live in your ear.
That's the reality Timekettle is working towards with their latest AI-powered simultaneous translator, the X1 AI Interpreter Hub.
We tried it at #CES with English, French, and Mandarin Chinese speakers, and although it wasn't perfect, it was very impressive. Check it out.

i've seen on one of TK yt vids where it shows only two of the modes can be used offline. and the one i was scratching my head was the 'ask and go' mode was not one of the offline modes mentioned.
so like if you're walking around the city and randomly want to ask someone without the earbuds and use the ask and go mode where you push the button and speak and the voice that comes out will be in the other language , that whole interaction has to be online? how can you get internet while walking around randomly.
now maybe i'm getting it wrong and every mode has the 13 languages built in , but from the yt vid i saw it specifically only said 2 of the modes were for offline use and the ask and go was not one of them. kind of disappointing if this is true
