In Sonogno at the far end, however, on a rainy day it feels rather dark and foreboding.

@@SwitzerlandisLife we were in this area last August. I’m looking for a better time to visit. Too many people and not enough run off filling the waterfalls.

Absolutely lovely place. I wonder though how the locals feel about tourists wandering between houses and through their backyards. Tourists money is important and I'm sure they want that but don't try to live there. I am sure there are a lot of barriers to that.
