  • How much do things cost in Egypt? In this video I am in the Siwa Oasis in the far western desert of Egypt, about an hours drive from the Libyan border. Follow me and Fahd into the shop and find out the cost of things as I buy dates, olives, tea and more.

Yes it did!!! Knowing this is where the locals come to grab what they need, that everything was grown in the oasis and is so fresh, really it's the best feeling. Then you know the prices and it's perfect. Come to Egypt Rosie I will show you around and you'll eat some of the best food of your life! 😍

Good to see you are still in Egypt...I miss Egypt so much...was there last month for 2 weeks, as you know. Love the people and food ! You got some great deals! Refreshing to pay local prices, eh?😊😉

Haha yeah I think I will actually be in Egypt about a year....original plan was for 3 months but when something pulls you in...! 😁❤ Love love Egypt for it's people, and yes the food is also delicious. I only pay local prices! 😆 I actually don't do a whole lot of shopping, but before I do go anywhere I ask my Egyptian friends what something should cost so I don't get ripped off paying tourist prices, then I barter and make sure to get in that range. So far when I come back with something and tell my friends what I paid, they approve or sometimes even say I got a really good deal. Ahahahaha, kwaysa
