  • A graveyard on Mount Zion is the setting for Zola’s teaching on the “catching up” of believers, the first End Times event on the prophetic calendar. From the studio, Dave and Kirsten talk with Dr. Jeffrey Seif about the amazing surprise and the timing of the Rapture of the Church.

    11/2418: Yes, there will come a day when we will be RAPTURO’d, HARPAZO’d or RAPTURED and what a headache the world is gonna have.
    The remnant church is WAITING, WATCHING and WORKING til we hear that Holy Blow & Heavenly Call. I truly miss Brother Zola Lewitt. JESUS is coming and that time is even closer than when Brother Lewitt gave this teaching.....in the twinkling of an eye. Even so, come, LORD JESUS.

    Miss Zola for sure but Jeffrey does an awesome job of trying to fill Zola's shoes. He is just as down to earth as Zola & makes the Bible come to life just as Zola did. Shalom can't wait to meet Zola in Heaven.

    I've followed Zola every week since 1979. My question: When the dead that are buried rise to meet the Lord in Heaven, what about those that have been cremated instead. Where are they after cremation since there's no housing for their bodies because they were not buried?

    • @veggieeater
      @veggieeater Před 5 měsíci

      There's nothing too hard for God. Whether cremated or buried in the ground will eventually bugs will eat away at their flesh, the spirit has already left.

      I'm sorry about the captions, and thanks for the notice about that. This episode had broken captions in the original version, but they should be fixed on our website at www.levitt.tv/media/watch/733-18. There, you can even see a transcript of all the captions. I'll get the CZcams version fixed as soon as I can, though.

    Why do you say that everybody has eternal life, when so many verses in the Bible, God's words, say that the soul that sins shall SURELY DIE? There's only two verses that say some entities are going to eternal torment, the Beast, the False Prophet and Ha'Satan. Everyone else will HAVE THEIR PART in the Lake of Fire. Then there's the verse about being resurrected unto judgment and the SECOND DEATH. I don't understand why that's not horrifying enough for someone to want salvation?

    • @OurJewishRoots
      @OurJewishRoots  Před 3 lety

      Todd Baker replies: You seem to assume that death in the Bible means cessation of existence or to cease to exist; it does not! The biblical concept of death is one of separation. Thus at physical death the soul is separated from the body with the soul continuing to exist either in heaven or hell until the first or second resurrection (Luke 16:19-31; James 2:26). Every human has an immortal soul as reflected by
      the fact each person is created in the image of God (Ecclesiastes 12:6-7).

    • @FrankPCarpi
      @FrankPCarpi Před 3 lety

      @@OurJewishRoots I believe what you are saying, with one big difference. After the Lord comes to Jerusalem, the first resurrection of the dead occurs, and the judgment of Jesus, then the souls of the dead will be gathered up from the four corners of the earth, then they will be sorted out by God, the sheep on His right side and the goats on His left. Then the goats will be cast into Hell, while the sheep get their resurrection bodies, and their rewards, and enter into eternal life, beginning in the millennium kingdom age. Then, while the rest of the world is enjoying His kingdom, those sinners will be tormented in Hell. At the end of the millennium kingdom comes the Great White throne judgment, then the sinful souls who were born during the millennium kingdom will be judged, and will be cast into the Lake of Fire, and death and Hell will be thrown in after them, and then will be the fulfillment of the saying, "Oh Hell, where is your victory, oh death, where is your sting?" And death will be no more afterwards. So Todd, how is that an eternal, live separation? It sounds more like a final burning up of Hell and death to me. Isn't that one of the first lies that Ha'Satan told Ha'Avah, when he said, "You shall not surely die!"?

    • @OurJewishRoots
      @OurJewishRoots  Před 3 lety +1

      Todd Baker replies: The Bible does not teach annihilationism as you presuppose. Luke 16:19-31 makes it patently clear that souls exist after death. And the very same word used for eternal life in the Greek is the same word used for eternal punishment in the Greek text of Matthew 25:46, thus showing the punishment of the unsaved in the Lake of fire is ongoing without an end just like, conversely, in heaven and on earth the righteous will enjoy eternal life. To deny the obvious here betrays doctrinal myopia on your part and an unwillingness to let Scripture speak for itself!

      @@OurJewishRoots well,in either case, thanks be to God for Yeshua, my Messiah and King 👑 of kings. I'm not fully convinced, but I'm learning Hebrew, so that I can read the Tanach for myself. Everyone that I have had this discussion with always quotes that same verse about the rich man and Lazerus. I have over 200 verses on the other hand that sound more convincing of the non traditional view of annihilation at the Great White throne judgment, when death and Hell are tossed into the Lake of Fire. I don't think that I will learn Greek because I don't think that I will have time to do that before Yeshua comes in His cloud to receive His Bride. But I know that when we see Him, we will know for sure. It's not one of the issues that someone could lose their salvation over, so I'm not terribly concerned about it for myself. I know that I would rather believe this way because I have loved ones who died before they made a decision to follow Jesus.
      On Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
      Why doesn't it say everlasting life, the same way it says everlasting punishment? Couldn't everlasting mean that the punishment lead to an eternal condition, not the punishment being ongoing for eternity? I mean how long does it take for our loving God to punish sin? We are going to be 1000 years in the millennium kingdom while they are in Hell, isn't that long enough to be in torment for refusing to believe this glorious Good News? I'm not just being argumentative Todd; I really want to just know for sure because this is one of the biggest points of contention amongst the unsaved.
