My theory is they tried to add a lot of audio in post. Most people think the video is "scripted," or "fake," but I think they made them do a few extra lines after the show to add some extra spice on what would otherwise have been a boring, realistic video. In a few shots you can hear them talk really clearly without seeing their faces, which could be real-time, but feels inauthentic.

Chat, the contestants, and xQc himself were braindead when calculating the value of the offers in relation to the alarm. For example, +50k for 3 alarms per day is not the same as 3x the risk WTF?! It was a minimal increase in risk for the simple fact that they stop the alarm in roughly ~5 seconds pretty much every single time. It's more like +0.001% risk. They were idiots to not take that money (if it wasn't scripted, which it was). That whole alarm mechanic was stupid as hell.
