I think a lot of people in these comments blinded by his raww talent. But raww talent alone don't get you a D1 scholarship. Yes he is tough no doubt. But his size is entirely to small. A lot of these guards skill wise doing what he doing with the size to match going into there senior year of HS. These kids want to live in the gym. But they don't work as hard developing there body. Nobody really telling them this either. In college he would get bullied at that size. And it will be hard to guard bigger guards that's just as fast/quicker than him. This is just the raw truth nobody gonna say. But trust those colleges thinking the same thing. Pretty sure UNC gonna get him in that weight room. Then he will truly be scary.

Trey is a poor decision maker. That's still a big problem with his game. For example, he gets his shot blocked a lot. He'll drive at bigger defenders are try to adjust in the air after the fact. This leads into essentially turnovers, either from wild shots, shots that are blocked and lead to transition, attempts to pass late which are picked off, etc. Trey dribbles way too much, which takes the team out of its flow. Trey dribbles wildly at the defense, which forces him into bad shots and the above-mentioned problems. Trey's shot is very inconsistent, and his outside shot selection is poor. His off ball game is non-existent. He's undersized. His defense is poor and doesn't apply consistent ball pressure despite the athletic tools to do so. He ball watches. He doesn't rotate. He can't fight through screens. He doesn't close out, and if he tries to, he doesn't close out under control. He's not that great in transition.
So, no, he's not that great. He's a jumper, like his brother. Just like his brother, he might be a single digit scorer at a mid major (at best).
