- Hey everyone with it being August 2021, so far CDPR haven't announced any future DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, but with the delay of Cyberpunk 2077 DLC and the next-gen update set for release later in 2021, perhaps CD Projekt Red might release both the Next-gen PS5/Xbox Cyberpunk update, and the DLC together?

They created such a great city, great cars, npc's but the A.I is so bad. Such a shame!
The A.I needs a huge rework, I agree buddy
The cars are alright, the engine sounds at pretty stock and generic
@@TrickyAcidGaming bro cmon now ur asking about dlc already and this game is still hot trash, I'm jus sayin I doubt it and they really should focus on the game improvement instead of hoping over to something new
@@TrickyAcidGaming But can they fix the AI
The Story is also one of the greatest ones
Honestly if CDPR delivers on the DLC and it's running smoothly on console then I just may find myself back in Night City. As my hopes for the game aren't completely in the bin. As I've never looked forward to a game launch more than Cyberpunk 2077.
I agree man, thing is there was a huge amount of hype behjind CP2077, and I guess as a lot of console gamers got the short straw to a glitch-fest of a video game it led to a lot of unfaithfullness for CDPR. But lets see what happens now with future DLC and Next-gen plans. I hope they do end up releasing the next-gen patch along with DLC personally as I think it would give people more of a reason to come back and play.
Dlc are just minor things that is suppose to add more stuff to the base game. Not something you necessarily wait after the release anf hope it to make the game better. I mean those dlc probably will be just some cosmetic/character recreation. Which is not gonna make this game any different. You would end up just doing the same stuff over and over again. Cosmetics + first person camera doesnt work together. Ppl put too much hope on those dlc to make the game better
@@fadumankagan997 I'm not expecting the DLC to change the game. But even some cosmetic changes and new character creation to start with. Would give me a reason to start the game all over. As I got so frustrated I quit playing before beating it. Also I'm sure after the 1st or 2nd DLC there will be bigger DLCs that give us much more playable content.
@@fadumankagan997 yeah that cosmetic shit is useless I hope they don't add any cosmetic and they just focus on adding a lot of new content for the city and the gangs because now it's a bit empty (I mean there are a lot of side activities the map is full of icons but they are mainly shit, I'm talking about real side missions with decisions and for exploring all the lore of the game)
I refuse to play till the " New Gen" update comes out for my Series X.
The artists really did a great job on this one. So much of the rest... not so much. It is playable but the bugs. The damn bugs.
CDPR is now just a AA studio they've lost an A with me
This comment is genius
I know many better games than Cyberpunk 2077 that are made by AA companies, this game is just a cashgrab sold by PR hype
I picked up the game just recently after the latest patch, and find myself really having a lot of fun and getting lost in the lore. If you can run this game on a high end PC, there are many flashes of what CDPR was going for. I’m just trying to stay positive for this game and its future and hope the upcoming DLC is decent (if CDPR delivers, I’m not holding my breath too hard)
Works great on series S console...but bhas weird black empty subtitle bar bug that requires an occasional hard game restart. Compared to how it launched on PS4 the whole game is a lot better now.....but it really needs DLC to give us at least one good ending option for V.
what lore? are you serious?... CDPR is lazy enough to put any lore to any gangs. to any fixer, even you as a character.... the game is
Cyberpunk 2077: Johnny Silverhand
@@retsamrazwinkz9765 The game itself doesn’t do a good job at going into the lore, but if you find the lore from outside sources, books, etc, it’s interesting.
@@samnewman1360 exactly, this game world and lore are amazing, I hope they add a lot of content in DLC for explore all the city with a lot of missions, specially a lot of content for every gang, also I hope they give more strength to each decision in the missions
According to CDPR press spokesman, Fabian Döhla, dated 12.08. 21, "patch 1.3 is coming on 01.11.21, unfortunately we can't do it faster for the following reasons. As you all know, valuable and necessary parts of the game have been stolen by the hack, furthermore important employees have left us, like recently, Pawel Kapala, Senior Game Designer. So we had to start from scratch in many parts of the game. You should receive the first patches at the beginning of December and you should be able to buy them. Don't lose heart, all of us here are doing our best...".
I don't understand, parts of the game have been stolen by the hack? I mean, the hack just leaked the source code right? It didn't steal anything at all? Or am I wrong!
@@paquito4147 they had parts of the game on beta drives get stolen iirc. Patches and updates just ripped out of their system.
you have to understand. there are a ton of features still turned off, becuase they're not working right. it will all be taken care of.
A few months? Dude it's still a half year until 2022.
I got anxiety after you left that gear behind right next you after your bike made love to that fence..
Haha with the level my V is at, I usually only like sticking to Purple or above for loot really.
@@TrickyAcidGaming my comment stands. I'm not proud of it. I am compulsive with it. Haha.
Who said chivalry is dead? Such a gentleman to let your bike hump it out XD
Played through it a couple of times on PC last year and I found it just fine. All I'm waiting for is the DLC coming out then I'm planning to redownload it for a third playthrough. Looking forward for the future of the game!
Yeah same for me, on PC it's been pretty much fine through and through. I did originally however play on the Xbox one but that experience was horrendous, but when I switched to the PC version, it felt like a completely different game.
Was your second playthrough worth it? Like did you discovered new things that you missed/didn't had chance to see in your first playthrough?
I played it at 1024x720, minimum graphics and 20 FPS, from beginning to end lmao, I want to play it so hard now that I have a better PC and I can play it in ultra but I don't know if better wait for DLC
Yeah, I missed a lot of sides missions with people like Kerry. If you don't play through the entire thing and do everything you possibly can god knows what you're missing out on. I'll probably use a guide on my next playthrough. I've a i5-10600K & RTX 2070 Super, was able to play with ray tracing on ultra but there was moments my FPS dropped, I'm hoping next time I play it they will have the graphics more optimized for the game. I've been waiting while playing Valhalla, RDR2 and Days Gone, lot of good games out there still to play while we wait, just got to hope they'll be an update soon!
They really overhyped the starting roles when they all ended up being the same
100% we all thought these would be three different playthroughs but it was just 20 minute intros, that led to the same scenario.
If there are no additional story content and just cosmetic additions there is no reason to jump back into the game in my opinion. When the DLC is additional content on the level of new story archs I’ll redownload, until then I just don’t see it happening.
That's a fair point, having story related content is totally what is required, it would be awesome if CDPR do release some extra story missions, but with it being free DLC, i wonder if they would do that or just lead to small new additions.
@@TrickyAcidGaming oh I think you made a great point that it’s a distinct possibility that it’s just a next gen update and some Cosmetics because it’s free. Having said that I think the wise business move would be to release what would’ve been a paid DLC for free or as a free add on to the $60 base product. That would immensely increase the player count and bring back the past players. Which is what they need to make sure they can sell plenty of copies of the next DLCs. (Also get rid of the sun and make it a dark game as cyberpunk is supposed to be)
Absolutely. I would say FUCK cosmetics. It's a first person game, people are dumb. The game need a ton of work, they should focus all their attention on improving each lifepath, making decisions matter more for add replayability to the game, and add a lot of content for discover the game lore (we need to explore all gangs and have a lot of missions about them)
I hope all that pre ordered get free next Gen
im just curious if they are going to give a special item or something awesome, to the preorders that never asked for a refund?
God the AI is so bad in this game. Granted I still enjoyed myself, and I'd buy an expansion if they released it. Still, cmon Cdpr.
Agreed, A.I is a huge issue witht his game, like vehicles are all on set-pathways on the road, have zero A.I to actually swerve around your vehicle or anything. Same goes for enemy A.I as well.
@@TrickyAcidGaming I just noticed it's even worse in your video, you walked right up to the enemies and threw a grenade at their feet, and they stood there, then took 10 sec to even notice you.
@@Mustang1984 I know right, it's like the A.I needs to calibrate on what is going on after quite some time until it realises what it needs to do sometimes.
@@TrickyAcidGaming I think it's a computing constraint unfortunately, because so much resources is spent on rendering the great looking city, not much is left for AI and it shows :/
There are npcs from the PS2 era that are more intelligent then cyberpunk npcs
I wish I had the PS5🥺💖I wonder what it like to have the console and the controller in my hands I really wanna experience Cyberpunk 2077💖🥲
Ironically the playthrough I'm currently going through right now has more bugs than my original playthrough on launch day
Is it worth it to play it a second time? I played at minimum graphics, 720p 20 fps now I can play ultra 1080p but I don't know if wait for DLC or just play it again lol
Have you done new things that you didn't in your first playthrough?
@@paquito4147 Yea I 100% the entire map this time all gigs, side hustles, achievements including purchasing all the cars, I found myself enjoying my second playthrough a lot more than my first, at least 15 gigs I didn't do before, found some cool secrets like Meredith's body and you could've attended Scorpions funeral and done a whole different mission I never knew existed and I found myself more into the story if it makes sense, made completely different choices this run too idk I ain't gonna lie man there are still a heap of bugs, my first playthrough (Dec 10th 2020) was less buggy than my 2nd (Aug 7th 2021) I was running it at high settings with a standard of 40-55 FPS out in the Badlands easy 60+ FPS deep in the city is a nightmare to play in and if it's worth mentioning not a single game breaking bug but on 2 occasions I had to reload a save due to broken text which was probably my fault to begin with.
To answer your question though if it IS worth playing.. I mean it sort of depends on you with one of the upcoming DLC's being newgame plus I would assume people would come back to get whatever build they wanted ready for that,
I have a GTX 2070 SUPER as well
Keen to see what other new content the game will come out with in the future I just hope it ends up being what we all expected this games potential is crazy
The game itself is actually really good, the story is awesome (what else would you expect from CDPR) but the frame rate... Terrible drops in performance mode on Series X are killing me, I think it goes down as low as to 35 or at least 40
I never finished the game cuase it was so bugged
CD Projekt sollen bitte bitte den SLI-Support implementieren!!!
Great video tricky, I’m not sure at this point anything could save this game. I had a pretty smooth experience on next gen too. But I have a friend who played it on current gen and she had a less than good experience to the point where she stopped playing.
Thanks Nikki! Yeah same with a few of my friends who also played on current-gen consoles, they gave up as the game performed terribly. I think if they do release DLC with a next-gen update it may help in bringing back players but we'll see.
it's not going the way of anthem. so forget that pipe dream of yours.
@@ChickenMcThiccken I wouldn't call a pipe dream, but if CDPR want to win fans back they are really going need to fix up.
Despite everything that's happened Nikki i truly hope u and ur family r ok i knw NY was just hit bt ida be safe❤
