    OMG!!! Absolutely FANTASTIC. I love your musicality and your tone. A big powerful low register always lifts me. Such s wonderful upper register. You are amazing young lady. I hope to play again soon. Will probably never reach this level of performance or when I was in my teens. So I'll just play for myself. You are BRILLIANT!!! ❤❤❤

    Hi! Your tone is gorgeous and I'm playing this piece this year. I'm also looking at new flutes, what type of flute do you own?

    Some years ago there was this tiny kid playing a full-sized flute. I wonder if this is that girl, grown-up?

      Fred Cory it’s crazy how the most talented of us choose different paths different from music. I support them in whatever path that they take, but imo...😩😭

      @@danielwalker2381 Hi, I just want to be clear that my comment was meant as a compliment - with a wee bit light-hearted sarcasm, regarding of what you might be capable of doing all at once .

    Beautiful girl, beautiful performance and interpretation, but that constant up and down with the flute becomes distracting after a while.

    • @urobos99
      @urobos99 Před 6 lety +1

      pardon me 241hnd ...
      ...but are you serious?... 'that constant up and down with the flute becomes distracting after a while' ...this masterful flautist has done the painstaking passionate work (not only) to perfect her craft, immerse herself in this piece to the point that she can flawlessly perform it (in a live situation that would more likely than not - put her in conditions that challenge the performance - only to rise above it as we witness here), ...and you are somehow distracted by the movement she innately makes as part of her expressive 'being'. you are distracted by her up & down movement. ok. I just have to leave it there. ...well not quite. you 're first comment is that she's a 'beautiful girl', ...like you think you're giving her some credibility somehow based on her appearance. this performance is 'beautiful'. I (Grant Reeves) compliment her on her passionate performance, and sharing that beauty with us. Philippe Gaubert - "Fantaisie" - Pałac w Jabłonnie 21.05.2017 r. , Marianna Żołnacz -flet.

      @241hnd Před 6 lety +6

      Why so upset Grant? This is just a personal opinion of mine alone. Besides, I don't disagree with any of the things you said about her quality of performance. It was awesome.

    • @urobos99
      @urobos99 Před 6 lety +1

      21hnd. I appreciate that you were impressed with the performance. I found your accompanying comments dismissive.

    • @241hnd
      @241hnd Před 6 lety +2

      Dismissive? (whatever that means) What, you don't think she's beautiful? Everyone gives compliments in their own way. Also, everyone has different things that they don't like.
      Go back and read my original post again and just take it at face value and you'll see that there are no insults; only my own opinion.

      I was told swaying would make my audience sea sick so then i decided to just move with the melody like i saw other performers doing. Then i was told i shouldnt move so much... so personal opinions differ from person to person and for this reason, as a flautist, I've given up listening to comments regarding my performance style and i just go with what makes me feel comfortable. Afterall, I'm already having to learn, master and memorise my pieces as well as find the courage to get up and perform them!
