It's stories like these that I love. Many portrayals of Lamb are often this misguided or innocent creature lulled into the demonic cult through circumstances or coincidence. Very few delve into the idea that maybe the Lamb is innately twisted before it all begins.
Think about it, during times of genocide, I imagine it would be very common for someone to devolve into the mentality of "any means necessary" in order to survive, becoming more and more detached just out of fear and desperation. Then take that person ans give them the power to never experience that sense of weakness ever again? What would they become and could you imagine a person like that ever giving up that power willingly?
Probably one of my favorite versions simply because despite the sexual and cartoonist nature, this personality makes fundamental sense. I could see it happening in the real world and it's honestly very interesting to see unfold.
Good job on the voice acting and glad you left some pauses to let the context of the dialogue sink in for both characters.
I’m glad you enjoyed
It's also important to note that instances in the actual game encourage this interpretation, from the ending to some of the animations used in Knucklbones.
@@ganicc4782 By animations in knucklebones you mean the one where the Lamb looks like they're about to tear their opponent's head off after losing, only to change their mind after a few seconds?
"......Trauma buddies!"
HA! That was adorable and very intimate ("intimate" can mean many things, you brats.) Loved the voiceover, great job 👍 👍✨
The last panel lol
Love the crown giving a funny look because of it. XD
I like this canon. It gives the Lamb something to regret, and shows off that Narinder WAS responsible for what happened to him, as it was a willful act that drove him to be imprisoned. I like that better than making the Bishops the big bads of the setting completely, as it's not the sort of place where evil should be the arena of a single group.
This is weirdly cute In a mess up way
Is it just me or does Narinder look like a Chad version of beerus?
Oh my god Y E S
And Narinder is an actual god! Not someone who has the title of a god but isn't truly one. Nari is the god of death. Same with the lamb. They're now an infant god. I'm sure as the creators make new updates to the game we'll get a feature that shows the lamb growing their godhood. Aka see the lambs appearance change slowly and turn more demonic overtime before they finish the transformation and they turn back to the first stage but with a few new features like sharper horns or maybe occasionally you'll see them smile with a hungry predators smile as they torture their prey~♡
And of course, Unholy Alliance adds to the canon, slightly outmoding this. It was Narinder's need to be loved for which he was attacked, not that he attacked others. He merely saw how the others were not merely FEARED, but respected, even, in a way, cherished by those who devoted themselves to such.
He wanted some of that, he wanted his followers to see him as something more. And so he opened the Door, the final door, the last barrier between the living and the dead. And oh how they began to flock to him, oh how they LOVED him, those lesser creatures, those...mortals who were now no longer such.
Devotion flowed like wine, and did he but drink from his cup, which overfilled time and time again. His 'siblings' saw this, saw him grow, first into the greatest of them, and then beyond even that, into something that is beyond all the Gods and Bishops, be they new, old, or something in between.
They went to him, first to ask him to restore the Order of Things, and when he refused, THEY attacked HIM. They TRICKED him. For as he fought, defending himself, he tore the eyes, the throat, the ears, and even split the skull of they for whom such injuries were merely flesh wounds, and they were far, far beyond the flesh.
But in those injuries they gained materials. Things with which to fashion chains. Chains strong enough to bind even one of his nature. Chains they hoped to be unbreakable. Then they heard the birds with their song, words of prophecy, and a path was laid out, a path that led to a Lamb, a Crown, and a new God of Death.
Amazing comic dub! Keep it up! 💖
I ship them
Peanuts are legumes
The thumbnail is hilarious because I've heard that quote for a dnd thing. The cleric vs warlock. Aka. "Forgive me father for i have sinned" cleric. "I'm sorry daddy I've been very naughty~♡" for warlock.
Peanut
Only other person Ewen can tell this is Shamura since they forget easily.
