Fantastic Catfishing video Paul! Too bad we don’t have blue catfish like that in my area. You sure got a good mess of them. Is bluegill the main bait you use? You always seem to do well with them. Keep up the good work. Nice to see these videos. Btw I loved the cinematics in this video too.

@@Paulcatchesemall of course, and sorry to ask again but is bluegill the main bait you use in your state?
Blue gill always work great for me; I recommend them being fresh. No older than 1 day old. Shad also work great. Those are the main baits I use when Catfishing. Skip jack are great when you can get your hands on them.
@@Paulcatchesemall thanks, yea blue gill are definitely the easiest to come by here in my area. We got Shad but not alot of skipjack. Do you catch them with line and reel? Or net them?

@@Paulcatchesemall went dock shooting last sunday and caught 15+ kept a dozen. Several big female's. Was over BPS on Sat working.
Dad wants to check out Dardanelle with the catfish poles, so I guess we'll do that at some point. Just about given up on catching spawning crappie off the bank on degray, Glen knows how to do it, but I haven't yet. I only know how to countdown/pendulum reel a jig over the tops of brush piles on degray. And for some reason the crappie on degray seem to be fairly small lately.

It’s about a half mile below. I can’t remember what the ramp name is actually called. It’s pretty destroyed right now. It literally right where that tornado went through a few weeks ago. Was hard getting back over there. But was manageable. You fish the river a lot?
Is there a specific time of year you like to catfish more than others? Also time of day?
Personally, I usually don’t start Catfishing until early summertime. Fall,winter,spring Im mostly crappie fishing. But you can definitely catch them year round. I’m trying to mix it up a bit more now.
