As cool as Injustice is, I would greatly prefer a ongoing Story series of the Crime Syndicate
Injustice is a story about a broken dream, which makes Superman so much more tragic there. He lost everyone, everything, and even his own humanity. The worst of all, he strives to accomplish his dream, which turned him into a tyrant, a monster and the very evil he tried to stop.
Crime Syndicate did not have any moral compass whatsoever, which makes them fascinating in their own way.
Very different settings and messages, but both are equally great. Let’s not compare apples to oranges.
@@kingol4801 You’re right but that’s why I find Injustice so much more interesting; it’s following the heroes as they lose their way which makes you question how much power they should have and exert that makes it such a good story in my opinion.
To that point, Brightburn kind of ran into a similar problem. It went slasher film so quick they don’t really spend the time I wish they did in properly fleshing out the character and breaking him down that I quit caring.
@@paradoxinraindrops141 Honestly, it never occurred to me that their power should be held back - that is not the issue. If anything, I am all for that kind of power being present.
Our power-less society is not fundamentally better. Instead of physically powerful beings we have politically and monetary ones - except they are not a tiny bit interested in saving the planet either (which is far worse).
What Injustice addresses is the difficulty and importance of having the heart lie in the right place. Especially the moment when Superman confronted Injustice Superman - “I am not taking it away from you, I am bringing it back to the people”. An equivalent of that IRL would be democracy actually working, instead of being what it is right now.
Despite adversaries, superheroes like Superman constantly persevere and make the right choice. That is incredibly difficult in our imperfect world.
Injustice storyline hits hard as it shows how easy it is to lose everything, even with the right intentions. Being a hero requires carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, quite literally.
@@kingol4801 Expertly said! When I talk about power I’m referring to them leveraging their abilities to establish control over the world to the point of becoming despotic rulers.
And having Superman, a character raised to pull his punches, take the gloves off like that is scary! But he doesn’t because he knows he is a God who walks among men that chooses to humble himself in his short comings and cherishes the bonds and values that make him human.

Owlman is still my absolute favorite. I love how James Gordon was a crime boss in his story line. And I loved ultraman's and superwoman's back story too

It always bothers me that they didn't do that and instead gave him the mainstream heroes.

This is probably the most depth the crime syndicate has ever gotten as characters.
Owlman in that DC animated movie would probably be the exception to that. But for the others, yeah, basically.

Imagine If superman and wonder women had a child. Getting God like powers from superman, and magic and the protection of the God from wonder women. That child would unstoppable.

Crime Syndicate vs Squadron Supreme, that's a DC/Marvel crossover I'd like to see happen.
The Starro Collective of this world were victims in the end. I loved how this series showed the Starro as victims of space-cops, only to be stomped by paranatural-cops.

Yeah they went and completely change the origins of Ultraman and Owlman. I have to admit I love the staro intro as it's like their own version of the Justice League from what 63 except in this case no Aquaman Green Arrow or Black Canary

Ever since COIE, Earth-3 increasingly became a caricature of itself up to the point it became a world where somehow everyone was evil and evil always won (edgy AF)
I like that this makes it more like its pre-COIE incarnation, which is a normal world that just happened to be unlucky enough to see its most talented metahumans turn out bad due to circumstances of their past (while still keeping inspiration from Earth-3 post-COIE)

😂😂Ya. Owlman here is so ugly, wtf happened. His new52 suit was already the best
So just something to be aware of when marketing for wireless phone companies. Any company classified as prepay as in you pay for service then get it like airtime cards and such are self-service zero liability companies. So the moment your device is on them no one has a legal certificate to work on the device anymore not to mention their premium data moves at near 1/5th of 4g actual speed and the cellular signal is up to 3 times weaker. Not saying they are bad but any prepaid vs full service company is a downgrade in quality. You pay more you get more plain and simple. Anyway just a tip from someone who works in a cellular sales and service field

This Comic Book Story is very interesting.
I love seeing the evil versions of them and all the details that went into this. I believe there is a lot to learn. bruce having a younger brother is CRAZYYY to me. they are SLIGHT differences, but cool none the less.

Yes. It is a video game movie, composed of cutscenes.
Injustice 1 game takes events after respective comic books, then we get prelude to Injustice 2 in comics, and then (chronologically) we get Injustice 2 game movie.
It is all on the CZcams. A bit weird, as you don’t play the in-game fights, breaking the immersion slightly, but still very good plot-wise.

The remaking of the Crime Syndicate is a result of readers fascination with villains. Injustice's Justice League is an incarnation of the Crime Syndicate in all honesty. It's a sad story when so many people openly identify with the bad guys. but this is America and we often admire the Bonny and Clyde types.
Often times the villains are more interesting than a goody two shoes hero

This is there origin story, they probably get more evil as time goes on.
With Johnny quick dying being what really gets them together, they felt kinda like the evil counterparts of the Justice Lord's rather than the regular League.
With that in mind, them being less bad than most versions kinda works for them.
Yeah, New 52 really altered the Crime Syndicate. When they were first introduced in the 50's they were plenty evil
