How to get start in your detailing business
• How To Get Paying Cust...
I’m a new detailing business and think these are great tips. I didn’t personally do friends or family and I had only worked at a car wash before. All I did to start mine was go to Office Depot printed off 250 business cards for $23. I went found a neighborhood on Apple Maps that was a decent size, drove there, parked my car and I walked door to door to every single house. I introduced myself “hi I’m Dakota, I’m a new business owner in the area” made a 5min friend and told them what I was doing (mobile auto detailing) and that’s it. I’m doing an average of 5 details a day. Good luck to any starting your business.
Not gaining consistent business has always been what kept me starting. I then heard a quote in a book saying “ Don’t let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning. “
I really enjoy these videos! Thank you for taking time to make them!
Love your vids man,, straight to the point. I've lost my job and new have to go back to detailing, but now that I have this is all I have and its been hard. Once I give prices similar to competitions I get turned down. So I either get turned down or charge cheap for a full detail. I have a good experience and confidence to get customers its been hard.
I appreciate this video, because it was definitely a question I had in my head for over a month.
this is a really good video on how to get customers for people who are just starting out. thank you for giving people some real value.
This video really help me out I am just now starting out buying all the stuff I need just need a vacuum , brush ,foam dispenser, and drill bush and I’m ready to go I’m trying to at least have 20 customers a month so I can use the money to have a apartment to get on my own and be my own boss imma put my all in this
Whats fucked up is that family will be quick to like their friends business page and share it and not even care about yours
Thanks for the info.
Good looking out . Pretty simple game plan . Pick up what you can and likely the rest will fall into place . Use your first jobs as your starting base to advertise . Keep up the good work Oscar . God bless
Thank you for your help
what if your friends and family dont give you any business? Ive been trying to find some details with my friends and family for a month and nothing.
Oscar, you're looking tired...bags under the eyes. Great information on the progression from the 3-5 introduction details you do, along with reviews & re-postings...really does work. Your right; watching videos is a lot different than actually doing the job. Actually doing the labor on those 3-5 cars, gets you to know your pro & cons, abilities, and what it takes to be a detailer. Great job overall Oscar!
Is there a difference between mobile wash and detail service? I don't have a trailer with total equipment. What do you recommend?
GREAT VIDEO
Hey Oscar do you have any corporate clients or businesses that use fleet vehicles?
Hey do I need insurance to start up a waterless carwash bizz?

Do you need a lincense to purchase insurance or you could purchase insurance without a business lincense?
