@@osmanniazi7888 The word "Tawhid" is not in the Quran or Hadith either. So allah's oneness is a fabrication by your logic. And no you cannot say things like Surah 112:1 says "allah is one" is enough because it's not Tawhid used in the text, but also you have other surahs where allah says "We" instead of "I". And no, no scholar ever has found "the plural of majesty". Only islams uses this claim, and this also isn't in the Quran or hadith, so is a fabrication by incompetent allah and muhammad.
Now if you say "well you don't need it written to understand the concept by reading the text", you are answering your question.

But at least with Joseph Smith there wasn't any direct wars and the pioneers fled violence (excluding the Mormon Batallion which never saw full scale combat)... unlike Muhammed, David, Solomon and plenty other religious figures from Popes on down intentionally stoking fear and bloodshed.

One of the reasons why i picked Jesus is that i was very curious about Satan. Study the enemy and you know who is your friend.
Top 3 things Satan is not very fond of: god, humans and authority. What could be his worst nightmare? Somebody who embodies ALL of them!!!
A son of god and also a son of men who has authority over heaven AND earth. The king of kings! Ouch! 😅
To get back authority means to degrade Jesus. Mormons believe he is just one of many gods. Jehova's witnesses see him as an incarnation of Michael, Abaddon and whoever he can be. In Islam he is just a good prophet.
Jesus says he is the only way to the father - to believe he paid for our sins, not just his existence. Who believes the opposite is condemned. What muslims exactly do. So many souls for Satan. Mission complete.

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, *and the Word was God.”*
John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
John 10:30 “I and my Father are one.”
This was blasphemy for the jews who wanted to stone Him and we see in John 10:33 “The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; *and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.”*
What did St? Thomas say to Christ after His resurrection
John 20:28 “And Thomas answered and said unto him, *My Lord and my God.”*
Colossians 1:19 “For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;”
Preceeding this we see in (verse 1:13) it is speaking Christ (verses 1:15, 17-18) He is eternal (verse 1:16) He is the creator (verses 1:17 see also Heb. 1:3) He is the unifying principle of the universe - all attributes only true to God.
This is even more explicit in Colossians 2:9 “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
2 Peter 1:1 “Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness *of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:”*
St. Paul uses the same language in Titus 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of *the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”*
Hebrews 1:8 “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.”
God the Father here calls His son Christ God. This is referencing Psalm 45:6-7.
Worship is only for God (Exodus 34:14; Deut. 8:19) yet here we have God the Father saying all the angels should worship His Son
Hebrews 1:6 “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”
Jesus accepts worship of Himself on many occasions
Matt. 14:33 “Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.”
Matt. 28:9 “And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.”
Jesus was explicitly clear that He is to be honoured equally with the Father
John 5:23 “That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.”
In Rev. 5:8, 12-13; Col. 2:6-7 Jesus is worshipped in every way the Bible makes clear is only how God should be worshipped.
Do I really need to keep going with the countless verses proving Christs divinity?
      Now for the Holy Ghost
Only God can know what is in a persons heart and his/her thoughts
“But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” (Acts 1:1-4)
St. Peter is explicitly clear that lying to the Holy Spirit (verse 3) is identical to lying to God (verse 4).
“Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. There’s a Spanish aphorism that states (rough translation) “he who can do the most can do the least”, meaning, that if you are capable of doing greater things then you must be able to do lesser things, like if you can move 300 lbs then you can lift 20 pounds. This is mostly a matter of law but it is also a law of logic and it mimics the English “the greater includes the lesser” or "who may more, all the more so may less". I don’t think that any argument from Muslims stating that God who is all powerful cannot by that very nature of power limit himself, overcomes this issue and I find it interesting that it’s not brought up more when debating them. It’s a self defeating argument if sparingly touched upon.

My thoughts about Jesus being GOD is that
    1. We have to agree that Jesus did claim himself as God (best evidence is his crucifixion)
    2. His miracles were based upon GOD’s power. So, if he did claim that he was GOD but it was false, how could GOD have gave him the powers to do such miracles?

Australian street da'is still make the scientific miracles argument, as does their leaflet on the Qur'an, which also makes the preservation argument, they have another leaflet about Muhammad talking about all his virtues, like A'isha saying he helped out with household chores.

"The carnal mind can not understand spiritual things." Apostle Paul. An Immortal God says I have a son for example, mortal men say no you don't. Yet when you ask mortal men, can God lie? They say no. But refusal to accept that God has a son accuses him of being a liar. Think about that.

I have an honest question for IP, but especially David Wood.
Even though I don't mind you soundly refuting any Muslim attacks on Christianity, shouldn't there also be some room for sincere good will to and cooperation with conservative Muslims in the West? We both live in an immoral and godless society and in many respects need each other.

What Hijab means is that Quran satisfies the ancient reader by giving him the flat earth, and by giving the modern reader a spherical earth.
And no I'm not trolling or making this up.
You can look up his discussion with the Apostate Prophet.

But i think later the authors were writing their own scriptures and not Uthman scriptures... they were destroyed. The Abbasids came up with this contradictory narratives , and violence . I think there was no Muhammad really, i think the Caliph became the muhammad everytime.... because in August 634AD muhammad led the battle of Yannik.

No it says the word became flesh meaning GOD the father spoke things into existence he spoke about the coming messiah in the Old Testament and guess what it's GODs word and it became flesh that's what I think it means ..GODs word became reality it happened just like he said

You left the rest of the verse out.
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
The Word is clearly a person (Jesus), it it super obvious. In verse 3 it says all things were created through him (the Word). What you are saying is some serious reinterpretation
