- 6" e-Readers are something that many manufacturers like Hisense, Fujitsu, Dasung or Bigme don't even make/have in their lineup.
Amazon has shifted 75% of it's devices AWAY from 6" devices as well.
However WITHIN the 6" realm, this is quite the contender.

I also thought 6 inches was small, until I held an actual device that size. Turns out it's perfect size for my hands :D (18cm from wrist to middle finger point)
And it fits in your pocket!
Some PDF readers are all to reflow text as you read to fit your screen. Ezpdf reader is an example.
Please do a M6 vs Poke 5 video. Also would like to know battery life, Android version, and processor comparison. Thanks
What is the best 6 inch for the money now? This, Onyx Poke 5 or Xiaomi Air?
When review for the meebook m7 will came out?
Gotta know you're opinion: Meebook M6 or Boox Poke 4 Lite?
Not sure if I missed it, but dies it have dark mode?
Just got this today. I was expecting this to work great as an mp3 player with the sd card and low energy screen, but it skips and stutters on all audio I’ve tried (a few different apps like VLC and AIMP, pandora, and the built in mp3 player)
hi. how long is it last if you listen mp3? how much time it can handle in idle mode?
Dude it's not a phone
There is a HiSense Touch HiFi device that is smaller (phone size) but supposed to be very good for audio.
did u end up finding a fix?
I disagree with you as far as PDFs go. Not all PDFs are like your sample file. PDFs produced from a word processor would work. I am reading a textbook PDF on my basic kindle and it works. Yes, the font is small but readable. I recommend that people first try out their specific PDFs on the device before deciding if it will work or not. Also, I think it is a little misleading to say that downloading the kindle app makes it a kindle device. There are some key differences between the kindle app and the actual kindle device. They are not 100% equal. The TTS function on all android devices is horrible compared to the kindle device. I don't think it is a negative that they did not include a speaker. With Bluetooth you get better sound, especially in a small device. Also, I'm sure it helps with keeping the price down.
It’s tough to keep an ereader with a speaker thin, too.
¿Does it have gps tracking? I mean for maps. I believe poke 5 does. I'm in between those two
can I connect a keyboard via bluetooth to this device? I wanna use it for writing with word.
I’m gonna test this when I get mine.
This or Poke 5?
And we salute you
The Last of Dying breed!
Accept is amazing
What about flimsy back of the reader? You didn't mention it
Yes we did. Watch the unboxing
Can I use Telegram in this device? That single feature means the world to me.
I literally just got the Meebook P6
I need your review please l, I really one to buy one
@@88wi it's on the channel
E-ink displays are still in their infancy. Instead, it makes more sense to buy tablets such as TCL Nxtpaper and Huawei MatePad PaperMatte edition.
People who buys this device, need it for reading, e reader is for avid reader,, while we can read in tablet/ipad, it could hurt our eyes and some people even got a migraine when they use it for longer than two hours,, e ink is way more gentle to the eyes,, but if one need more than just reading, tablet/ipad is the way to go..
Would you recommend getting virus protection since you are able to use the web on it?
Are you kidding me? Do you install antivirus on your android phone? Come on….
I won't go near any 6inch e readers ever again
Why?
@electromax6267 My PDF files used to show up too small and since going 10 inch I won't go back to 6
8"is the size that makes sense for me. 6 is too small and 10 is too big.
6 inch its good for busy person.
6 inch is good for pocket-size, but as fragile as these things are, you really don't want to have this jangling around in your pocket.
6" is the average size for e-readers. This is an e-reader with some tablet features. Not a tablet.
@@ryanmiller2502 I have a 6" reader alreadyy and it is too small.
Too big
I don't want Google anywhere near any of my devices: my phone, my television, my computer, or my eReader.
Yeah, 98% of the people out there need Google however, which is why it was the Prime focus of the videos content. But that's good to know :-)
@@goodereader The only reason I needed google was to download the 3 apps I use for my books. If I could have downloaded them without play I would have avoided activating google on my Onyx leaf 2 I got.
@@chemislife I got my eBook reader apps from F-Droid, thus eliminating the need to use the Google Play store. May be of some use to people wanting to avoid Google, depending on what apps they use.
@@Yates__ I'll look into that and if it works with the apps I needed I will give my current one to my dad who doesn't mind google.
Never, in a million years, a downloaded app will work as fast or as good as the built-in reader in a e-ink display for 2 reasons:
1)Those google play apps are not optimized for e-ink.
2) All those "big 3" downloaded apps are very limited because the better app is always on their devices, or there would not be a reason to buy their more expensive devices.
Ps: the warm light doesn't work on third party apps.
The warm light doesn't work on third party apps? On this device?
@@nguyenvankim5691 You can adjust the colour of the light from the system. So that warm light works in all apps, but you don't have the adjustment in the app itself, only in the system settings. From the top menu.
