- #shorts - While we were at the Albuquerque Balloon Festival a couple years ago, the winds changed and the balloons started to fall. The only place to land was in the VIP North RV parking lot. Several landed just feet from our truck and RV.

Nope. These guys are good. But we had a hard landing and were dragged sideways a long way. Check out link in the description for this video.
@@WattsOnWheelsNot all landings are crashes was my point. There are so many videos on CZcams where people said they saw a balloon "Crash".. YES; There are some rough landings at times, near the end of my flying season last year, I had a flight, where I had flown for over an hour, it absolutely beautiful. I was about 1,000ft. In the air, when I saw a dust cloud behind à truck, I could see the wind picked up. I landed in close to 25MPH! I lined up for a just harvested alfalfa field (the best). Made contact and drug 80 FEET! Take offs are optional......
LANDINGS AREN'T! Hope you brought your raincoat and enjoyed your Balloon Fiesta experience!

Please please please get more footage of the balloons, I live in England and that festival has always been somewhere I'd love to visit , I even have a picture hanging on my wall taken from there .....damn this 42 second video has got me jealous and happy both at the same time, hope you both have an awesome time , I can only imagine the impressive sights you guys will see 👍👊🏴🇺🇸

Marten: You can go to Balloon Fiesta Live and see all the events at Balloon Fiesta 2022, the 50th anniversary. Personally I wasn't able to attend this year, but watching all the action from afar was the next best thing. Tune in and enjoy hours from this years event. Maybe next year you can see it for yourself!
