Most of them are competing each other when they were younger. They joined same contests in tv and other singing contest.

They are performing every Sunday in ASAP as the BIRIT QUEENS or BELTING QUEENS with different types of high belted songs. They are composed of four queens, Morisette, Klarisse, Jona and Angeline.
Jona's voice quality is very unique.
This kind of singing is very typical for us to watch during noon time shows on a daily basis.
TRIVIA: Klarisse also joined The Voice where she competed against Morisette to become the representative of Team Sarah. She beat Morisette that round and finished the show being a runner-up. Mitoy Yonting (from Team Lea) won the season.
And eventually Morissette, despite not being the actual winner of that season, ended up the most successful and most famous of that season and probably the whole VoicePh franchise. She's one proof that talent will really bring you to places. So proud of this girl.

@@aeronmontala6051 prior to pandemic she was busy producing songs for her album. She's still part of Asap, she performs every now and then. She even performed and promoted her new song. Abs was denied of franchise so its safe to say that the network is dividing its resources to their talents. That, still, doesnt change the fact that Mori is the most successful talent from that season despite not winning. TBH Mori, Moira, and Darren are none winners but they were the most successful ones. Your 4 chair turners can never..

The 2nd one after Mori is Klarisse de Guzman. Both of them came from The Voice Philippines, same season, same Coach. Under Team Sarah. The Last one is Angeline Quinto, another grand champion on a national TV. But before this she joined Star for A Night (National TV singing competition hosted by Regine), same season too with Sarah G where SG is the grand champion back in 2004. Didn’t mention Jona since u already know her

When you guys talked about ASAP performances as an 'experience' and the amount of risks these singers take whenever they perform on stage, I felt ungrateful =( Growing up, watching ASAP and SOP every Sundays has made me take these performances for granted. Like they should be able to do that much every time T_T

I think that performance was outside the Philippines. But in ASAP every sunday, that kind of number always happens. There is a specific slot for "Biriteras" = belters. And the Philippine audience is always used to this type of singing.

The second lady who sang Because of You is Klarisse De Guzman who competed in The Voice PH with the same team and coach by Morisette which is Sarah Geronimo. She's the underrated singer here in the Philippines. Her soulful voice and low registers create good melodies.

It can also be "biritera". But "biritista" sounds more classy and elegant.😁💖

@@javiermichaels3144 just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean that it never happened. Many of my Cebuano relatives use that term, plus "ista" is a suffix which means a specialist of a certain skill, so it makes sense.
