About Sela Pass: The Sela Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass located on the border between the Tawang and West Kameng districts in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It has an elevation of 4170 m and connects the Indian Buddhist town of Tawang to Dirang and Guwahati.

Sela Paas was named after Sela, a local woman. Along with her sister Nura, Sela helped Jaswant Singh Rawant with ammunitions in 1962 Indo-china war in Arunachal Pradesh. Jaswant Singh single handedly killed 300 chinese soldiers with the help of Sela & Nura. Eventually they all sacrificed their lives for this Great Country.
