A Barlow is probably my favorite knife and that one is sweet. I picked up a vintage Boker at an Antique Mall in Hertford the other day but the shield is missing!

My only disappointment is the blade for the price. The nail nick could be done much better. Maybe a match strike and some are sharpened unevenly. However, it’s not bad enough to keep me from buying another.
Wow, what a beautiful Barlow. I just picked up another Trapper Boker in yellow bone. Decided to try black leather dye on the handles and it turned out pretty decent. Hope you are having a blessed day.

The bolsters look nickel silver to me. Look at how yellow they are compared to the stainless steel blade.
They're nickel silver. I finally found a magnet and checked.

I have a Barlow brown handled knife made in Ireland it says on the blade.
