Thank you so much for your kind comment ❤. my mom was 90 years old, very sweet and kind person. we were living together in the same house and I was her caregiver for 4 years at the same time with my work as a teacher in high school. Your videos were my donut 🍩 and my ice cream 🍦 in difficult situations and now , after my mom died, I am returning to your videos and I am feeling like mindfulness 🧘♂️. please keep going in your way!! love all your videos , vlogs too!!! love all the small details and love long videos.❤ have a nice summer!!❤
My Grandma and I shared a love of Outlander together. We would talk about the books and the show. it was great. She swore once that she couldn't die before Clare and Jaime so she knows what happened. Sadly......covid and she passed in 2020. When the next book in the series came out it was so hard for me to read but I told myself I had to do it because she would be reading it with me.

I kept waiting for you to announce the book and when you finally did, I let out an audible sigh. I too, read a portion of it in the late 90s. I put it down, then when I saw it was coming to Starz, (first), I picked it up again. You’re so right about timing. I became obsessed. YES, it takes over, but 5 days is a record I think. I’m re-reading them now. They’re that good and I’m 75.
I must find that tea, London Fog, and follow your recipe…while enjoying the books. The author is working on the 10th and final book of the series. It takes her a while (the size). Also, 2 yrs., ago my 2 daughters and I took an Outlander tour in Scotland. It was on my bucket list, especially after I learned I have 11% Scotts DNA.

Oh, my cousin invited me to go on an Outlander tour of Scotland!! I was SO disappointed that I was ill & not able to go, but she kept me up on the tour and It was wonderful!

You are so creative! I never thought about junk journaling, but your videos inspire me! You have so much enthusiasm and joy for journaling/notebooks! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas! Morgan Harper Nichols has an affirmation that says " I am making room for things that heal my heart". So I do need to focus on self-care activities! In a previous comment I mentioned Diane in Denmark on some of her Friday videos called weekly planning self-care gives four self-care assignments/ideas that one can choose from for the week and in those videos she mentioned ideas like spending time in nature, creativity, new recipes, listening to music. Also Mariane Cresp mentioned in her boost your mood video about creativity and music. So music and dancing are great. I also watched Kennedy from the channel Cozy K, cozy hobbies to try videos. I also like walking as a form of self-care. This includes outdoor walks and CZcams walks like Gina B from the channel Up to the beat fit and Leslie Sansone Walk at Home.
There are so many groups about junk journaling on Facebook and also videos on TikTok. I’d like to do it also it looks like fun.

I love the idea of scanning the ephemera to make it "paper" for your own journal! I'm so happy you've found your love of reading again. I've tried watching the show but couldn't get into it...but I do want to read at least the first book (it's a chonker lol). Thanks for doing the long-form video, too! It was perfect background noise while I was working on my own reading journal/eating dinner. 🙂
Yes, scanning has been very helpful as I can still use the "junk" without limitations with the texture. So happy to know you enjoy these longer videos, too. Yeaaah, Outlander has some intense scenes...especially a few that I was NOT expecting 😲

Just started Mary Stewart’s Trilogy of Merlin… read it SO many years ago. Thought I wd enjoy it’s escape into fantasy once again. She is such a descriptive wonderful writer:) …my righthand is in a cast…so no creating or journaling for quite a while!
I love Mary Stewart’s Merlin trilogy! It seems like it’s not very popular (anymore at least) but I think it’s my favorite Arthurian retelling

Oh that notebook is soooooo cute, Michelle! You can get those flat rate boxes for free at your local post office. I believe I will get one and make one of those covers! I have your two “zines” and a couple of notebooks I can use. I like it when I cover something like that with washi tape and make a design or pick a color family and cover it with tape. you got me pull out my junk journal I didnt touch for almost a year..been just collecting and hoarding for the longest :) so inspired! and Oh my gosh, Outlander! It was my show when I went on maternity leave...it was my show with my then newborn.so many Memories! i didnt know it started as a book how fun!

I haven't used my Zine books yet that you have created for us because the pages are already so beautifully decorated! I been starting to cut magazine and catalog images to try and make up vision boards or attempt to create layouts that appeal to me but haven't yet glued anything down yet. I was wondering where you were! I’m one of the weird people who watch ALL your you tube videos. LOL😂. OUTLANDER!!! What an amazing series. My husband and I were SO hooked! Yes. Season 1 Ep 1 hooked and then that was it - HOOK, LINE AND SINKER! We enjoyed watching it in 2014 (when it started). My husband read about it in a review and told me about it. Initially I didn’t think I’d like it but OMG!!! It was and still is a great series. Game of Thrones is a great one too. We started watching it this year. We never had time for it when we were working and I thought people were crazy for making such a big deal about it. Now… I’m one of those people. Love it!! So, you also have to check out House of Dragons!! WOW!! Just so great. I was laughing so hard when you mentioned OUTLANDER and how it took over your life. 😂 I get it. Loved it. I'm currently reading a book called Return to the House of Usher by Robert Poe. If you're thinking this is connected to the Edgar Allen Poe story, you'd be correct because the writer of Return is distantly related to Edgar Allen Poe. I'm not that far into it just yet as I've been super busy but I'm DETERMINED to make time for it in and among everything else.
