Dewey Cooper needs to get a lot of credit for Francis’ performance against Fury, and Dewey Cooper should get a lot of blame for Francis’ performance against AJ. How about showing/teaching your boy some defense? Francis is a stationary target with no head movement. He stands straight up exposing his chin instead of tucked in.

It just shows how little most casual fans know about the sport when they are CERTAIN that Francis is going to flatten AJ, it's sad to see but then you can't expect everyone to follow the sport as closely as yourself and understand the levels that are only reached after decades of boxing training and a dozen championship fights. Ngannou could still get the upset because he has that power but the odds are in Joshua's favour for a good reason, he's faster, sharper and has the experience and invariably that will win out

@@nicklubrino2606that was my sentiment too when I was watching Francis fight Fury he wasn’t giving his all because it was his first pro boxing fight and his camp was scared of him gassing out.
@@FM19964 Yeah, Francis didn’t throw a single punch after knocking Fury down in the 3rd. That was his big chance. Francis, and his corner, should have known that they couldn’t win a decision. It’s always been an unwritten rule in boxing that you have to beat the champ convincingly to take his title. It’s either a KO or a one-sided beat-down. You won’t win a close decision. They should have known that. As for gassing out, there were times it looked like Francis gassed out, but he always got his 2nd wind and 3rd wind because he was in great condition. Now, Francis knows he will always get his 2nd wind because of his conditioning.

Tried to use boxing as a stepping stone to go undisputed an get more money trying to dream to big but the stone was to high to climb, boxing ain't as easy money as it looked prior to AJ teaching any combat fighter outside boxing why boxing pays more but much more dangerous an sometimes deadly

If he loses to Joshua, I think he could get Wilder. If he does well in that, then maybe a rematch with fury.
Even if lose to AJ, Francis would have made $30 million in boxing fights. That’s 10X more than his total earnings fighting in the UFC. With $30 million, Francis doesn’t need to fight anymore.

Aj is different from Tyson Fury that’s what is going to make it difficult for Ngannou
I can see AJ giving a superb performance. I can just sense it. AJ is better than Fury. He’s beaten far better opposition and done them better too. I think there will be some drama for AJ to have to get through, but I think he will get through it because I think Ngannou is tentative when he gets a guy hurt for some reason. He let Fury totally off the hook in that 3rd round. Francis never pressed for the finish and lost the fight. You just know there would’ve been nothing coming back at him from Fury if Francis had went for the finish, yet he didn’t. If he does that against AJ he’ll lose this one too. I hope he has a more ‘finisher’ attitude this time. But make no mistake, it’s Ngannou who has the mountain to climb here.

You have to have a great team behind you who 100% believe in you. These boxers are incredible to make a fight seem like I'm not 100% sure who's winning. I'm thinking AJ but then Frances is a monster to, so if he hits you proper your going down and he definitely knows how to finish you. It's a great fight for people like me

i dont get it when has anthony joshua ever been down and not got up lol, this is some strange misconception, fury gets dropped every other fight, with wilder the ref even gave him 30 seconds to get up, not saying francis cant ko anyone but this reason doesnt hold
The reality is that Tyson Fury is more chinny than AJ but is recovery time is so quick after hitting the canvas. If Francis tags Joshua even once it’s over for him because his recovery is not like Fury it takes him multiple rounds to come back to his self.

Dewy is a true legend of the game. Francis has had some of the greatest minds in combat train him. If he can add an elite wrestling and BJJ coach to his roster I don't think there's a man born of a woman who can stop him.

Not sure that we're talking about a lightning strike. This wouldn't be all too shocking. A.J. his entire career has been chinny and we all know Francis can crack. If A.J. ends up flatlined and chalk outlined on the canvas it wouldn't be all that unexpected. A.J. should be able to completely outbox Francis. But then again everyone except for Francis and his team thought that Fury would clown Francis and look what happened there. Time will tell for certain.
