    • @hasamind
      @hasamind Před 4 lety +27

      I think the definition of “bust” should be reserved for the guys that get drafted high into the league with high expectations and fail to perform at the level that was expected of them. Poor shooting, poor court vision, poor defense. An all around bad player that somehow played good against elite college competition but once in the NBA somehow turned into a scrub. Not someone who is a good player but ends up having to retire due to health concerns but was a force when on the court. Just doesn’t feel right

    I remember watching that spurs game like it was yesterday. I thought that check from Davis was harmless until they showed the replay and knowing the spinal issues he has had throughout his career..... I called it, I said "he aint coming back from this one" and he didn't. I honestly don't remember anyone considering him a bust. Other than his injuries, he has always been a solid PG from start to finish, especially his years in Toronto and Indiana. Underrated at best and definitely one of my favorites.
