- This awesome crew knocked out a huge 86 yard Georgia driveway in one shot. It was my pleasure to pour with this group of hard working guys. I love meeting new people and experiencing new places. Georgia was a great first stop on the easy money tour with plenty more to go!
You know who the bosses are, the ones with the hard hats and vests. Love how Ryan is the boss and gets in there with the workers ( even though he smashes a finger lol). That’s a real true boss
Pretty interesting to see them super concerned about the hole and looked like they weren’t sure what to do. And then he Ryan takes care of it like nothing.
Theres bosses then there leaders Ryans a Leader there bosses
Prob inspectors
Ryan’s a boss Those hard hat guys are scabs
@@santiagogarciaolivar782 Yeah that’s a typical development, owner or designer for you. Would have 100 guys to investigate the hole but not one of them to know how to fix the problem.
This was really cool to see you work with a different company. To see how things are done in different parts of the country. For example if you go to Florida the actually use crushed shells in the asphalt. The shells are very hard and really wear tires out a whole lot faster. As always thanks for bringing us along and promoting other businesses Ryan. I'll see you in the next adventure for sure.
damn lived in FL my whole life never knew that
I laid asphalt for years, Ohio & then Naples FL, sometimes on lunch break I would go dig around n the pile of shell we used at the asphalt plant, we found alot of nice shark teeth
@@stevenarmer8245 still workin asphalt in naples? small world
@@ComitMods hey there, yes it is a small world. Not in Naples anymore. Living in St. Petersburg now for past 8-9 yrs, self employed home remodeling & repairs.
@@stevenarmer8245 same thing in Jacksonville NC. Guessing it is because the ocean is so close. I use use to dig out the shark teeth also. Getting the plant ready for a Hurricane was also a mind blower.
That Crew had an awesome attitude! 👍🇲🇽
Woulda been great to have Eric and Francisco on this job.
Dude they would of clicked with the crew, they were all mexican
Just put Eric in a suitcase 😂😂
I was thinking the same thing. He should probably take one of them every trip. The majority of finishers are usually Hispanic.
@@vdubbub1986 thinks for saying Hispanic and not Mexican.
@@tylergarza7068 What's the difference? They were from Mexico? They're Mexican. Nothing wrong with that...someone from Canada is Canadian. Someone from Puerto Rico is Puerto Rican....
Next time bring Francisco or Erik as translators 🤣🤣
Good job Ryan you’re encouraging ,I grew up pouring concrete with my uncles they always screaming and yelling but that’s the way it was . keep up the good work no doubt you’re a hard worker and see everybody likes you thats encouraging good Man👍
Ryan is the best we can all agree he gives us tips and helps us a lot thank you for everything Ryan!
Love the inside jokes that fly over their heads. Love how Ryan can work with most people.
Easy Money, 86yds that`s a days work for sure. Great video. Cant wait for the next one.
Where we are in Ohio they are all rear discharge trucks but they are remote controlled so the driver can stand outside and still operate everything. It can even drive forward and reverse and steer by the remote
In southern Ohio we don’t see many rear discharge trucks, been years since I’ve seen one. They’re pretty cool
In Northern Iowa that’s all we see. Bentons is the one of the biggest companies in town and that’s all we see.
Also in Sweden we ONLY have rear discharge trucks!
Tomcat in Central Ohio has only rear discharge trucks and there are not remote control
I drive ready mix truck in Ontario Canada. They are all rear discharge with remotes but it would be nice for ours to move by remote. I've seen stone slingers with them.
What a great group of guys to work with. They look like they work really hard. Good job guys!
that old rich dude bantering with you is THE best part of the whole video, nice to see a guy that fancy with so much humility and a good sense of humor. Just one of the boys that happened to make it, or be born into the right family.
Gotta love project managers standing around in their clean ppe watching people work
And probably the bosses son who is making the company money by "cutting unnecessary costs" but he really just took all the reinforcement out of the concrete to save a few dollars. This is how you get very few repeat customers
@@rubensalazar2725 I noticed that too. Uufda
@@rubensalazar2725 majority of residential concrete don't have steel
And they were wearing hard hats like standing around can lead to a head injury 🤣

Ryan the whole entire time you had me laughing my A#% off! You are just funny as hell. I love your attitude, and I really like the fact that you always push everybody around you to do a great job!
💯% Respect to you good sir!! You know what you’re doing and it shows, definitely understood the assignment!!
Great video Ryan! Cool to see how concrete is poured differently in another state, btw the guy running back at 30:40 for the picture said sarcastically “I thought he was giving away free money” 😂😂😂😂
Si'mon 😂
It's funny how invested I am in this...as soon as I saw starbucks I yelled out "nooooo! what are you doing?!" - then to hear "I can't believe I'm doing this," too funny
That was an awesome video. I liked seeing how the concrete is poured in a climate other than the midwest; goes to show how much thought and skill is required when you provided good services.
Ryan was so happy pouring concrete.. like a little kid.
The crew was cool as soon as they knew you could pull your weight..
Great video
This was awesome. Never considered the regional differences in concrete.
Super interesting how they do it in volcanic ash rich countries like costa rice. Some of the smoothest roads…
Love your videos. I started driving a concrete truck 4 months ago and was watching your videos to learn as much as I could before my first day. Im in North Carolina and you're right I 100% need to learn Spanish!! We only have rear discharge trucks at my company.
After Eric and Pancho watch this video, they going to realize they are making easy money with Ryan, a estos Amigos se ve que los hacen trabajar de mas, muchas yardas, muchas horas y quien sabe cuanto les paguen….. if Ryan work with this guys for a year, he would learn Spanish quickly, va a pasar por Mexican everywhere 😀 greetings From Chicago Ryan
Bless that company for hiring those men. Honest workers doing honest work.
Love your CZcams videos, my husband started watching and I would hear how humble and God-loving man you are now I'm looking for your next video. Thank you! Ryan God bless you and your family 🙏
love what you do man. im 25 and started a business doing landscapes back in march a ton of ups and down but saw nothing but growth and opportunity. i dont do any mowing just patios, walkways, retaining walls and new landscapes. ive been in the industry since i was 17. thank you for showing us how you go about your business and keep it up! i would love to talk to you about business one day and any tips youd have directly for me.

Dude once I seen the concrete I said wow. It's a huge difference from what you usually use. Wet and rocky. Great video. 👍😀
WOW!!!!! theres nothing that urks me more than getting that kind of mud. doesnt happen often here in the frozen tundra of nodak but when it does, turns my smile upside down. especially when the pour is going nice and smooth. to be fair, we havent gotten any load THAT bad in quite some time. and you know its rocky when adding water only makes it worse. BUT like ryan did, just gotta work thru it. make light of it, start joking around, start a conversation about something else, anything to lighten the mood because bitching and whining only makes a sucky day worse for everyone.
good luck on your travels, ryan. thank you for showing us how other blue collar brothers are getting it done.
I don't think anyone understood Ryan's sense of humor the looks on their faces when he was talking smack 😂 All those dudes and it takes the camera guy to fix the hole in the ground? C'mon!!! Great job Ryan!
All we use in Australia is rear discharge trucks and the chute is remote-controlled by the driver, Nice work!
Sounds like how me and my crew does it in North Carolina awesome vids as always sir thank you for what you provide each and every week
I also just saw that green broom is the best broom by far get u in and out fast never had a issues Brooming it wet and it’s just as fine as if u waited for it to get real tight and use a regular broom you get the same results these guys u can tell are quantity more than quality different strokes for different folks
Funnier than heck, Ryan. The guys were like who is this gringo and then they saw that you were friendly and knew what it was about and then opened right up to you. Great video, thank you. Drive safe on the way back home. God be with you, always!
It’s safe to say your raza approved great job working getting it done def EASY MONEY !!! what a great video showing how they work getting the job done and showing them that you get it done too ! You def earned their respect and they will forever remember you 💯

Wow. All stone in that mix. Keep them coming Ryan. Easy 💰 money tour.
Keep em comin Ryan, ur a beast, love to see it!! VICTORY STYLE!!!!👍🏽
Great idea to get the core sample from each pour. Get 2 so u can test 1 and find out who has the strongest set
I have been watching this channel since the very beginning, I left a few messages for you and dont expect and answer , you have over a hundred k subscribers , this was a great video. Watching these guys do this pour made me realize just how much Better of a contractor and person you are my friend. The jobs you do for people are the very best anyone could provide on any given day. Kudos to you RY-Man Kudos !
I love how Ryan was talking trash about the concrete and the trucks, but they have their own concrete factory, so the Thomas Concrete (the guys he was working with in the videos) are the ones who make the concrete and own the trucks LMAO. When he called it gravel I died laughing. Ryan was a savage without even realizing.
Thomas Concrete doesn't do the finishing, they are a Swedish company that bought out Costal Concrete and are taking over concrete delivery in the south east. They only hire drivers and mechanics / operators. I did, however, find the company that did this. I won't name them but they hire out laborers and the reason they are there is just to see if they are doing an OK job. You can see they leave as soon as the finishing is started. It's doubtful the sellers and managers know much if anything about concrete. This is all the laborers doing the best with what the upper management sends out (crappy back unloading trucks, no wire retention, excess aggregate, guys putting in 100 hour work weeks).
Man i love my people 🇲🇽 no matter what we stay positive
Yeah probably good 90% of them with fake Social Security number taking jobs away from American citizen.
@@chrisnelson5877 , nobody is taking jobs away from American citizens. Contractors have been struggling to hire general laborers and finishers for the past few years. The reality is contractors have turned down work due to lack of employees AND these contractors are paying an aggressive competitive wage.
@@chrisnelson5877 keep your negative comments to yourself sir
I live in the houston area, hispanics work hard and are willing to do work that others wouldnt do. Working outside all day in any weather isnt desirable for most people. I give props to these guys.
@@infidel3162 The reason why is these illegals are doing the job is because of cheap labor. I have been in construction industry all my life and I have customer hiring cheap contractor that are not up to par (law) that are making our Skilled workers leave because of these illegals doing it cheaper another way of saying is going backwards.
Great video Ryan. The guy in the black jacket said (cuidate) when you was leaving. Means take care. Safe travels Ryan I'll keep you In my prayers. That was a good pour VICTORY STYLE!!! This is like a real life dirty jobs but with concrete!! Love it, Ryan! Keep it up man! Us fans cherish you!
Im not a boss, but I would feel awkward watching other people work while I am just standing there. Not used to that type of supervisor in any job I have ever had. Thats why your channel is doing so well Ryan, some of the other concrete channels on CZcams just post videos of others working while the boss explains the job when thats just your intro. Amazing boss and person.
Texas is rear discharge
great video, you made there day with the jokes that they didnt get lol
Love how you worked with the Georgia crew. Very nice!
Ryan, I love these videos! Great content, crazy to see how different the concrete was down in GA compared to WI.
I can see why they didn't want people to know their name. People gotta survive I guess. Great video Ryan! Hanging with the paisas.
Yup! when he said the company didn't want their name mentioned, I knew something was up.
Down here in Colorado that is not expectable
Were they illegals?
Look at the crew thats actaully doing the work, not a SS number between them
@@nickk4010 While upper management picks the lowest bidder, and only sticks around until they start finishing. Maybe make a pass back by at the end... yes this is a corporation whose only service is upselling concrete stuff whose corporate offices only know how to order concrete to a location with paper pushers who can get the project rubber stamped.
What a hard working crew!! Great job guys. Thanks Ryan!!
Thanks for your work Ryan !
Great video ryan, that Georgia concrete really is a big difference from that Wisconsin concrete.
Guessing even without steel reinforcement that driveway will last decades(no freezing weather). Although I hope the sewage/water main is not leaking an that’s what caused the sink hole. I think your opinions help those guys get a little better.
Oof the straightedge guys need some pointers haha, but this is so cool to see you working with other companies! Big thumbs up
This is just fantastic. Ryan becomes boss in about 15 minutes 🤣🤣🤣
Ryan, I'm still a relatively new subscriber (probably about 2ish months) and I've seen 99% of the videos on your channel. I've never poured concrete myself, but I have always found it fascinating. Nice to see you're having a good time on your trip, hopefully the rest of it is butter smooth!
On another note, I don't know if you're still doing shoutouts, but this upcoming friday (the 17th) is my 23rd birthday and it'd be pretty cool to have one 😁 (PS: My name is Trevor, don't even worry about the last name cause nobody ever says it right 😂)
Love the channel!!
Breaking the ice with a new crew is all about showing them you know what you're doing
Awesome work guys. This is a perfect video to show my customers down here in Florida why we don't do things the same way as they do up in the colder northern states. We get these snow birds that see how it's done up there then start questioning why we only pour 4 inch drives with fibermesh only. Control joints are one of the most important things with are concrete down here.
Ryan you are the man! Yes concrete in the southern states have way more rock. You have to cut your control joints way earlier and tap your form edges. Jitter bugs and tamps. Keep it up man huge respect coming from Phoenix az concrete guy!
Yup, harsh mixes, rear discharge only, and 110+ in the summer. Gotta love pouring in phx hahaha
We have QuikTrip and Kangaroo stores here in South Carolina. That look similar to the store you normally get coffee at back home. Love the videos keep up the great work.
Are all your kangaroos circle k now also?

Ryan I.m from Georgia and have pour over a million yards in my lifetime and yes concrete is poured differently around the world and I like to watch different videos to how everyone does it yes I also follow your videos and I say the same thing about your but you and your crew do very nice but my time has passed on concrete but it was fun while it lasted now just watch everyone else
I REALLLYYYY enjoy watching Ryan working on other crews in other states! There’s a dynamic I can’t explain, but it’s very enjoyable and entertaining! I watched this one and the one he helped in southern Illinois, the WDYC 30-year old guy and Mario. Looking for other out of state pours!!
I have lived in NYC. You’re an anomaly. Most bosses do not get involved with the pours…. You’re awesome
Great vid man as usual. Here in Newfoundland I have never seen a front discharge, all rear discharge up here and I don’t know why. First front one I saw was on your vids.
You must be glad to be back to pouring concrete even if it’s in a different state across the country. It’s nice to see how different companies do things and the fact that you can just jump in with anybody and get things done I’m sure it was appreciated
Thank you for your kindness towards my people, that makes you my people!
Here in Southern California we only use rear discharge trucks. Brand new 2018+ powered by NG engines. We mainly use rear discharge because they are better for high volume pours and also have a smaller wheel-base on site, especially if that site is a public road or residential street.
That was some bony concrete. Glad you had a good time, it's definitely not always easy working with different crew's.
Wow 86 yards of concrete and not one piece of steel in the driveway. Mind boggling.
Georgia doesn’t freeze like Wisconsin
@@gwarguts lol it’s not in there because it freezes, it strengthens the concrete, helps prevent cracking, especially on high traffic areas
@@Garyck88 I know that I don't like that its not in there either
@@Garyck88 i think it depends how much the customer wants to pay too. You'd be surprised. Sometimes when I do landscape , the customer will try and cut prices like using no weed fabric , cause of course you have to charge to install it when laying down Gravel, and it can get expensive as it is with Gravel and dump fees alone so peoppe will try n skimp the project out. I don't know if the same case was here of the owner trying to save money , or the owner of the company trying to save money

You can tell Ryan wanted to take over and do it all. Funny that u can tell some of the things they were doing was killing him.
You should keep two quick trip cup samples from each pour. Then at the end of the tour, pressure test one sample from each. To see who makes the strongest crete!
That's a cool idea
Thanks for taking the time to go out and do this for the industry. I enjoyed the video and can appreciate your style.

The ONE single thing that Ryan truly MISSED, (Having that 86+ yard job's profits $$$$$) ) LOLOL Looked very expensive !! Guys worked HARD, Large aggregate, makes for a harder "pull & push" , and harder to strike !!!
Awesome job ! Love the fact u came to my hometown to help oour a driveway.
I enjoyed watching you work with a different crew in a different area.
Most of that stuff looked as if it was for pumping with the gravel and as wet as it was. Screeding that way is probably why there were bumps in it and why they do it twice. Lots of crete and definitely hard workers. Keep up the great videos Ryan.
Those boys got a lot of room for improvement. Could cut em from 100 hrs a week to 70 with better tools and layout
Thanks for coming to Georgia and see the difference how concrete is poured. How different the materials used are. I like how you showed what size rocks are used. I was really surprised that the company didn’t use wire or rebar in the whole driveway, especially considering where y’all were working at. Not like a $200k house. But, a 2. Million dollar property. I guess what they can’t see……….. Thanks for sharing your videos sir and hope you enjoyed your time in Georgia too. Have a safe trip in your travels, Peace ✌
