    The Rightline Gear Truck Tent transforms the bed of your Jeep Gladiator into a comfortable tent for two and means that the perfect campsite can be found just about anywhere you can park your Jeep. There are a number of advantages to getting your tent up off the ground, from getting out of the dirt and the mud, to not having to spend time finding or leveling out a campsite before you set up your tent. The Rightline Gear Truck Tent sets up in just minutes without any modifications needed to your truck. The heavy duty straps and non marring plastic buckles make setting up the tent quick and easy, while the 3 tent poles are color coded to take all the guesswork out of the set up. The interior pockets give you convenient storage for items you need at hand, and there's a hook sewn in to the top of the tent that makes it possible to hang a small lantern. The tent comes with a stuff sack to store it in when not in use and a rainfly for the times when the weather is less than perfect!

    If i have the rugged ridge hard trifold bed cover, would it seem that this would work with the bed cover if its folded up

    Rob, hey man love the videos. Just curious if you could do some with the ZJ?? I mean quadratec sells stuff for it, why not feature it in a vid or 2 every now and then? Not doing s o is alienating a whole cross section of jeep enthusiasts and potential Quadratec customers. Just my opinion.

    Rob, looks awesome! My 2021 Gladiator just came in. Will it work for the 2021 model? Also do you know if there is an air mattress that works for the 2021 Gladiator? Similar to the AirBedz Inflatable Air Mattress for 07-20 Jeep Wrangler JL & JK Unlimited

      Yeah you probably want to get one.... because after spending 60 Grand on a new Jeep FADiator...... I wouldn't be able to afford a roof-top tent either

    Has mesh windows and Door but bugs can still climb in from the sides of tent since it is not sealed since it just lays over the bed of the truck

    • @JesseCarman
      @JesseCarman Před 3 lety +1

      This was my first concern, especially if you have a light on in there those pesky flying bugs will come in in droves. I wonder if tightening the sides solves for this or not.

  • @andrewwolfe8742
    @andrewwolfe8742 Před 3 lety +4

    To be frank this is a cheaper version that is higher priced of the Napier Backroadz tent. This doesn't even have a tent floor tub. So if there is moisture in the bed you're sleeping in water. Also it looks smaller.

    • @Jackal_Blitz
      @Jackal_Blitz Před 2 lety +4

      Except you can still run a tonneau cover with this, so yea, that's not really an issue.

    Could this be used with a hard fold up tanough cover? There are some covers that fold up and can be tied up against the back window.

    Will it work with a folded soft tonneau?

    • @Quadratec
      @Quadratec  Před 3 lety +6

      Yes, because of how it simply slips over the bed, it should work with a soft tonneau that's rolled up. You may just have to spend a little extra time adjusting the tent and the straps to account for the tonneau material.

    Will this work with a trifold bed cover?

    • @Quadratec
      @Quadratec  Před 3 lety +3

      Yes, because this tent basically sits on top of the bed, it should work with most bed covers just fine. Depending on your specific cover, you'll just have to figure out what storage position works best with the tent installed.

    Somethings just don’t need inventing - chuck a swag in the back or just a normal tent on the ground, the flatbed holds my gear - too much effort moving my gear to pitch a bed tent

      Not all people only do what you do. A rack and RTT are top heavy and sketch on a heavy rock crawling trail. Ground tent is risky in bear country. This tent provides protection and only one point of entry for any curious aggressive bears. To each is own. Good invention.

  • @shmack-dab-in-da-middle3960

    Yeah I just picked one of those up new in the box for $80 on OfferUp I would laugh if I saw anybody camping with one on a gladiator they probably told their girlfriend sorry baby my payments six $700 a month for my $60,000 FADiator.... so yeah I can only afford a $200 tent

    • @karlpatton1249
      @karlpatton1249 Před 3 lety +2

      Wtf are you talking about? It’s about practicality not price. By the way it was 66k. I have a Tepui RTT, Coleman ground tent and one of these. These are great if you are doing heavy rock crawling and don’t want to be top heavy with a Rack and RTT. And will keep you better protected with one point of entry in bear country.
