I remember being a little kid and getting so hyped for this intro song. A happy memory from my childhood. Happy to see that they were friends.

Im up this morning listening to Triple H Themes and boy if it wasn't for the King I would have never found Motörhead's music.
I had the privilege of seeing Motörhead live at the Webster Theater in Hartford on March 15th, 2005. Great show. :D

I still listen to the live version from wrestlemania 17 when I’m in the gym. It’s something about when Lemmy says ‘it’s time to play the we game’. Sends a cold shiver down your spine every time

Cool story about that; when Hunter was working with the music crew for his new theme, they asked him what he wanted after several failed attempts. His response was, "I want it to sound like Motorhead". To which the music guy said, "Well, why don't we ask Motorhead?", which Hunter responded with, "I didn't know that was an option!"

Introduced me to Motorhead when i was a kid.
There was a story that lemmy lived by the rainbow in LA and went there all the time and played a digital gambling machine at the bar, I like to think thats what game he was talking about.... I've got heavy debts, no way I can pay these!!

Lemmy was also a huge wrestling fan too! HHH even asked in his words "a song that sounds like a Motorhead song." Vince said "that can be done." HHH replied with "it can?" 😂 apparently HHH didn't knew that Vince had connections in the music industry.😂
Along with The Game, Motörhead also threw together Line In The Sand for his wrestling group Evolution, and then for just Triple H he also threw together King Of Kings, neither of which appeared on any Motörhead albums, bonus tracks or otherwise

correct, jim johnston wrote it, i believe the couldn't get the feel triple H wanted then basically said "it should be more raw and gritty, it should sound like motorhead" and eventually Jim just said "why dont we just get motorhead to do it
