Fun fact! Lyney and Lynette were first teased years back in Genshin’s storyline teaser trailer, 1:27 is a reference to the image of them used in that same trailer as it’s the same poses

Furina is a ... complex ... character .... While watching the trailer I realized that her character's role is most like that of an Idol - and we all know there's a dark side to being an Idol. This trailer showed the bright, happy, public show side... If you watch the her story trailer, you'll get a bit more of an idea. I won't drop any spoilers, in case you decide to play Genshin sometime (though there's about 6 months worth of story and character building to get through before you get to Fontaine) but her story (fontaine archon quest pt4) had me crying rivers for hours ... and I hated her character before that.

Not pt4 but pt5 we got her story and yeah it's really sad and I hate some people still hate her ( Fontaine people )

Yeah, and with how cutesy her demo is, people probably missed her "title": Endless Solo of Solitude, which feels out of place in a fun and happy demo that hinted at her backstory.
I have her and she's great. I have three Archons so far, Venti, Shogun and Furina. I have Lyney too and he's awesome!
Fun Fact: Lyney has the EXACT same EN VA as Blade...... from HSR.... Daman Mills voices both Blade AND Lyney and omg they have such different voices like what?!
That’s because Daman is a LEGEND!
He's also the current voice of Frieza in Dragonball Super. He has insane range.

Furina is the genshin character that made me cry the most she went from one of the most hated characters in the entire game when fontaine just came out to THE most loved one.
Also Neuvilette even tho he looks a bit intimidating i'd say he's the biggest softie here, he's more of a misunderstood emotional guy more than anything else. He's just serious with his job.
Navia also made me cry a lot, literally she was in the main story so much and everytime we saw her she'd go through more and more hardships. It just never ends. It went to the point where people thought they changed her voice actor when her demo came out but no its just cuz she sounds happy and we're used to her talking like she in a verge of breaking down.
She also has one of the most satisfying gameplays, nuking everything with her gunbrella that does so luch damage plus the loud shotgun sound is so satisfying
Not "everyone" hated her because not everyone has the media literacy of a 1st grader.
@@Crusinayeah a lot of people gave her the benefit of doubt because they learned from Nahida. Nahida received so much hate when she was first leaked but became one of the most loved characters as the story progressed.
As a true fan of Furina I can say I always loved her 😁

Thinking back, wow did quite a number of people hate her. Did they just take characters at face value? Especially an Archon?
Or maybe I just read into things too much. Though I'm glad I did with Furina. Always questioned why she does what she does even before her big reveal.

The fact that Lyney and Blade from honkai star rail share the same English voice actor (Daman Mills) is still mind boggling to me 💀
Yeah Furina (the celeb/idol in blue) is in my opinion the most complex character that hoyo have written period, ovbiously I’m not gonna give any spoilers but she’s is by a mile my favourite hoyo character from any of the games and probably in my top 5 of all time, if you play genshin up to her quest I look forward to seeing all the twists and turns and emotional rollercoasters that will occur hahaha
Not even close to the most complex hoyo has written, I'd let it pass if you're referring only to genshin, and it's still kind of a stretch
If you want to get back to Fontaine, it can be a long ride depending on where did you stop. At least, the story gets whole lot better with Sumeru.

I left off with Nahida’s quest line. Many have told me that’s when everything starts to get really good but I cannot get myself back into it 😅

But if you wanna play only for the story, I think you can enjoy it without farming or pulling.

Sooo Lyney Lynette and Freminet are somehow siblings Lyney and Lynette are blood related while Freminet is their "sibling" from the orphanage (they were risen in an orphanage)
I can't relate to most of the experience regarding Furina, because it turns out most of my speculations as to what exactly the Hydro Archon had been up to were on point (I had it down to two potential game plans for saving Fontaine before picking the wrong one) and so I saw a lot of this coming. Doesn't mean I don't love the character - I just didn't go through the period of hating her to get there.

I loved her right at the start and loved her the most by the end. I NEVER hated her and was always so confused as to how people could dislike her.
@@LARVideos A lot of the early storyline IS written to paint her in a bad light, and if you don't start with the presumption (from Nahida's view on her and what we'd already learned about Hydro between Rhodeia, background item lore and events) that the Hydro Archon is highly intelligent, probably conscientious, and extremely experienced at changing perspective... you'd be stuck taking everything at face value.
@@DanaOtken I always felt the storyline was painting her in a secretive light. Not bad. It was clear from the beginning she was hiding something. But I never got the feeling that we were meant to think negatively of her.
