Although she was born in a poor family, Dan-dan had always tried to live her life to the fullest. To her, her stepbrother, who’s ignorant of the world, and her mother and father, who are always on her brother’s side, were nothing more than obstacles. Unable to bear it any longer, Dan-dan eventually leaves the house and works as a resident tutor in Young-guk’s house per her professor’s introduction. However, her father, Sucheol, had been hired as a resident driver and is living in the backhouse of Young-guk’s place. On top of that, her mother Yeonsil is secretly living there as well. While being constantly anxious about being busted, the more time she spends with the kids and their father, Young-guk, the more she falls for him.

Anyway yeah, I like this drama because initially, any situation that comes up in the drama gets resolved quickly. That makes the story fresh and interesting, but then there's this amnesia part which I feel they drag too long (that's why I did skip some parts). So maybe you can skip those parts as well. But well, that's up to you. 😊
Edit 2 (lol) I just completed this drama. It has 52 episodes. It was such a roller coaster ride. As much as I like Dan Dan (female lead) for her genuine personality and kindness, most of the time I was annoyed with her. She keeps crying throughout the drama. However the last two episodes was worth watching. I don't regret watching this drama but I wouldn't say it's the best.

I feel so bad for her dad. She was really rude to him. Adults have their own struggles too. I can't imagine talking to my dad like that even if heaven is falling on my head. The beating I'd receive, my ancestors will feel it.

I'm hesitant to watch a long period of k-drama because I'll usually get bored quickly; even that drama has 16 episodes. But with this drama, every episode is fun to watch and filled with sad and happy emotions. Thumbs up to the writer for making this drama. Currently, I'm rewatching this drama

I can’t tell you how much I love this show. It’s amazing and my favorite character is Park DanDan since she is very nice. She also so sweet, wholesome, and helpful. She’s very pretty also. Even know it’s a little age gap, it’s ok with me! This tv show is an 11/10 for sure. Every each person who played their character, played them very well and suited them. So I basically just obsessed with this show! 😊

Okay wow what a brilliant first episode. Loving the themes. Loving the characters, although quite a few were introduced and I am still trying to make sense of it all in terms of who is related to who like for the secondary characters. But I am amazed how the show can deliver so many emotions in one episode. The main girl actor is good at acting. She really puts all her emotions into it especially for the sad parts. Although she doesn't look like who 13 year old Dandan would have grown up to be. The actress that plays miss Jo would actually be more believable as Dandan in terms of looks. I love the father's and stepmom relationship. They really knew that each other were the reason why they survived and despite the challenges they are sticking together. Anyways looking forward to watching the next episode.

Those samsung Z flip/folding phones are really taking the immersion out of this series/drama. I mean there's a scene where you feel for Dandan that she has no place to go, no money then she pulls up a samsung z flip/folding phone and boom, immersion/empathy lost. Priorities right? When the drama is started and Yeongjin leaving dandan suddenly my eyes filled with tears from the crying voice of the baby when i see any new born getting hurt, without mom or dad or alone and crying my entire body got goosebumps and thought how can he/she do this how cold hearted is he/she and then i see that scene i continuously crying for half an hour how shameless is yeongjin i know this is only a drama but so realistic😭😭
