If anything needs a gritty reboot, it's The Mask. I think Jim Carrey could still come back and pull it off. The Mask was originally supposed to be a horror film, but once they cast Jim Carrey, it took a totally different turn.

The Mask had one special move that you didn't explore.
The mask is actually the Mask of Loki and works using chaos magic. If it's weird, fun, and disruptive, then it's a go. Maximum chaos.
He could have removed his mask and placed in on Deadpool to cause super chaos.
Not necessarily some people have worn the mask and not be affected by it. Either because they lack creativity or because they are already so powerful that the mask doesn't do anything at all.

@@nubreed13 it’s actually more complicated then that, the mask works by tapping into a person’s suppressed emotions and desires, if someone does neither, then the mask actually has nothing to work with, that’s why it fell off Walter’s face.

Deadpool knew the show presenters would bring him back by accident and the mask helped him, lol they basically both played the system, it’s a tie. Both have the type of powers and characteristics that would allow them to battle without actually doing it, it was all for show and they had fun with it. It makes sense given they both break the 4th wall.

Let’s be real: the second this matchup was announced we knew Mask would win. Deadpool May be hard to kill, but Mask is on a whole other level of broken, AKA Cartoon logic.
Deadpool regenerates, the mask says no to damage.
The only real competition is cameraman and no one can see him not even himself. But he can most definitely see us. Even then it's a draw or a small victory in terms of fun content and attention for the two.

While also being insanely hilarious and a fun episode, this battle was Essentially death Battle openly mocking scaling videos or people who make unfair matches just for the sake of seeing another character die or wanting to see their own win.
I like how this is a parody on grudge matches. They even acknowledge at the end that they purposely put Deadpool in a matchup where he couldn't possibly win.

Both Deadpool and The Mask were back in storyboarding because they don't have enough money to pay the animators for this Death Battle, which is pretty clever for 4th Wall Breaking.
The storyboard scene is probably the best part of the entire battle😂

Actually, _does_ the Mask like to talk? I mean, they certainly seem like the sort of person who would, but it occurs to me I’m not that familiar with the character.
That toon force definition is excellent, actually. That's precisely what characters like Pinkie from MLP do: break physics, but only if it's funny, so they sometimes end up in dangerous situations they should be able to handle if they drew on their entire powerset.
In short. The Funny Business means they could BE THE JOKE.

@@StormGardenHedgefleet We haven't seen the Mask operate on the level of the Infinity Gems/Stones so I wouldn't be too sure about that. The reality stone alone could be enough to separate the mask from the wearer and the entire gauntlet should be able to just deconstruct what the mask is. The gauntlet isn't beaten by anything but plot.

One thing people don't get is Wade can do that too, in fact he does it better as the Mask breaks the forth wall.. Wade breaks its, walks through, and holds a gun to the animators head before returning to the skit and enjoying the benefits. If this video was accurate Wade seeing himself losing would call a time out, hit fast forward like on your phone until its daytime, watch the mask fall off the guys face, say its a shame before brutually killing him and going for chimichanga's. Mask can't do that, he can break the fourth wall, but he can't take it over.

That was the most amusing, confusing, and entertaining death battle I've watched lmao
I expected this one to be a hoot, and it delivered. Not only was the actual fight funny, but Boomstick’s annoyance with Deadpool was hilarious. Kudos to however wrote the script. This battle had a lot more dialogue than most, and the combatants’ distinctive speech patterns were replicated perfectly. Mask/Bighead’s voice actor did a perfect Jim Carrey impression.
Deadpool's hubris caught up with him, he never stood a chance against an actual cartoon character.
You know there are certain rules regarding not always using composites but seeing D.B. used them equally well yeah The Mask obviously wins.
Though that purple gem and a gun that erases beings from history should have been a trump card for D.P. but seeing this is a composite overall Mask is just FAR FASTER to let Deadpool even have a chance to do so.

You gotta give credit where credit is do, Dead Pool is one tricky badass to kill to some extent but does fail in comparison of the Mask's though and since the Mask is a complete lunatic what makes you think he will wait for D.P. to ever have a chance to use such abilities?

Anyone else bothered by the fact the healing turns into regrowing then agint when it comes to limbs? It should realistically first the skeleton at full length etc. That or other wounds would heal that way too and that wouldn't really make sense.
