This off-road is smoother than our regular roads 😁

Fun video. I ride a Scrambler 1200 XE. I went on a multi-day adventure trip (Smokey Mountains 500...great loop) with a couple of Honda dual sport bikes (a 250 and a 350). They kept up with me fine on dirt and gravel, where speeds never exceeded 40mph. But, on the paved bits between the dirt roads, no chance, lol.

Haha thats s great bike! What I like about the smaller ones is their simplicity in the off-roads. Of course on straights or highway they are not the strongest. There is always a pay-off. 😁

Keeping up with the Tenere on the Gravel road was something 🙌🏻

this is an amazing video!!! definitely showing off the Triumph's abilities! You gotta get some better tires though, i swapped my stock ones after 600 miles for dual sport tires and the difference was absolutely unbelievable! Keep up the good work!!

Hi thanks mate! That fuels the engine 🤙😄 Would you mind sharing which tires you used?

@@SplitLaneMoto My favorite front tire for dual sport is a Shinko SR241 i did the 2.75 x 19 front, it cost $60 and lasts forever, excellent grip off road, but it requires raising the fender as it is a tall tire, i believe 26" OD so it makes the triumph feel more like riding on a 21" dirt bike front rim.
For the back i switch between two, I prefer the Shinko 244 5.1 x 17 for roads and trails, and if i'm planning a trip for more extreme offroad you literally cannot beat the Kenda Trakmaster 130/90 x 17 on the back- it's DOT approved but basically it's a dirt knobby. it's loud on the street and will wear down very quickly on a highway, but good lord it's a cheat code for single track and nasty offroading! But yeah a 241 up front and a 244 in the back is a nice set-up for most things and will be a HUGE step up from the anakee tires.

I forgot to mention you need to delete the rear tire hugger mudguard to run the Kenda trakmaster on the back. it clears the swing arm and chain no problem but not the guard.

I did a few times. On straight the larger engine will win. You get an idea of it in the short stretch on asphalt near the end of the video.
