how does the Japanese man with the new Zealand accent make his music? I have no idea, but I attempt to recreate it.
Snail's house has been one of those artists that I keep going back to. Every album, single or EP that Ujico releases is different and it really keeps listeners like me interested. In this video, I'll go over what kind of elements go towards making a song in a similar style to "Pixel Galaxy".

btw, how do you master your tracks?
It depends on the track im doing, usually i have a compressor on the master to bring up the levels a bit then i use ozone elements track assistant to help with the EQ. For this particular song I had OTT on the master with the depth turned down to about 30 percent i believe with the “upward” setting turned down to 0. Hope this helps. Oh yes, i use the TR5 Compressor i thinks its called… set to polite setting. By the way this is in no way the “correct” way but its how i do it and it kind of works for me so yeah. lol. also thank u for the compliment on my voice i was sick here haha.

Its a long stream but just watching how he goes about making the music is really helpful imo.
I'd start by recreating some tracks if you can, or just some portions of it. But check this stream out because I found it extremely helpful.

@@kevinmoore3724 ah that’s called porta mento you have to play two notes at once - one tiny one (if you look closely at that time stamp you can see super tiny notes that the MIDI is sliding from played before the note that I want it to slide to)
