I have only the HIGHEST praise for
Featr, Erwan, his co-hosts, his guests, his entire prod team. More than ever, we need high-quality online content like yours that is proudly Pinoy, unapologetically Taglish, yet full-on world-class. More! More! And more power to you all!!

This reminded me of when me and my grandmother used to make tablea in my grandparents’ house since we had a few cacao trees in the backyard. I used to love repacking the tablea in cellophane all while sneaking a few bites of the bits and pieces that were scattered. My grandmother always went for a darker taste of the tablea compared to the sweeter versions you could find in the wet markets. She passed away a few years back but I still remember how to make tablea to this day thanks to her. Thank you Featr and well done on this episode!

I appreciate your support for local products. I will be looking for this online and buy. I honestly want to grow cacaos due to the shortage of it in the world market and there is the support of the local government for its cultivation. Sadly, we bought our farm with lots of mango trees and it is all sour. My daughter, the chef is doing an RD on how we can process it and I think we can save the trees instead of cutting them. We don't want to cut them at all.

Good thing na nagrresearch. Pwede naman intercropping lalo na if mainit/maaraw yung lugar. Nasa setup, spacing, at orientation na lang.

My memories drift back on the stories my mother used to tell where she's made to eat the fruit then save the seeds for drying then after some time, it will be cracked by using mortar and pestle then it will be winowed. Same process as in the video but all manual - old school should we say.

Same goes with the back story of miss Kay's grandmother, my grandmom also used to and know how to make tablea chocolate and we also "supsup" the cocoa beans before she ferment to make tablea. This video brings back some memories of my grandmom making tablea.

I've been experimenting with how to get that color of the cocoa mass and how to reach the paste-like consistency because we have a few cacao in our backyard back here in the province but I cannot manage to reach that paste-like consistency in my 7 times of experimenting although in my first try we have successfully reached the goal but I forgot how we reached in that level.
