Nice guy and very interesting to listen to. Love the car except for the automatic. That certainly is a beautiful area where you are. Good stuff as always.
The car is a piece of fine art work, and at the same time it is a hell raising hot rod, I like the fact that it can be raced or you can take the grandkids for a ride, The best of both worlds, very nice detail, very original, attractive car, Thank you, Sam and Tony
Hi Tony, it was nice to see this Satellite, this model was also one of my favourites from the mid 60s. Me and my dad went to dealers to look at them when they was new and I like them specially the side window. This hood scoop is this real? And this flor shifter is my favourite. And as usual you made a nice video.👍
Why does it have 426 on the valve covers? Isn't that an entirely different family of engines from the 440? I am glad he didn't put the way oversized wheels on it that are so popular now. My car came with 18 inch wheels and I replaced them with stock 16 inch wheels so I don't have to worry about the low profile tires damaging the wheels if I hit a pothole or something.
@@tonyscarcare5657 Thanks for the response. I saw a car that came with a 396 still had 396 on the valve covers even though the engine was replaced with a 454. The owner wanted to retain the stock look.
I never was a Mopar guy, but Thats subject to change. very nice car. I remember seeing these as a youth.
My dad had a 63 and a 64 for second cars when I was a kid, so I learned at a young age to appreciate them. They were bulletproof.
And my just driven from San Diego 1999 Suburban 2500 454 4x4... rust free bliss... it just needed 4 gallons of prestone to replace pure SoCal water
Dang! I bet it did!
I remember when these were new. I was 8 and someone near us had a new one. It was a fairly hot car. I never knew what engine it had though.
I love the roofline. Like Art's 64.
What a lovely car. Thanks for the episode. 👍. Reminds me of our XL day! I like your friend. He is a cool guy.
Thank you, Mark! Much appreciated.
I worked on a 1969 Corvair convertible today, 1 of 521, and super rare 140 4 carb 4 speed survivor
Maybe I need to do a video on it!
Here's one.

Tony, Things have come full circle, today we have more Satellites in space than on the roads. 😉
Lol. I never looked at it like that, but I guess you're right.
@@tonyscarcare5657 That's what I am here for Tony! 😁 BTW Our family's 1975 Fury was just a Satellite in disguise.
That is very true! Thank you!
That thing sounds and looks great!
Thank you! I agree 💯 %
Love the 65s. Great job with the video.
Thank you very much! I appreciate it.
1st Rockford Illinois view
You sure are good at that!

Thanks, buddy! Much appreciated. We have no complaints about where we were born and raised. We see all the seasons here.
That’s right, we get all four seasons in the Midwest, when I was reading that, I immediately thought of that song “God‘s country “- Blake Shelton
Right on!
Awesome car.
Thank you! And Sam, thanks you!

Thanks, Dave! It really is something else.
👍👍👍
Thanks, Jeffrey!

Thank you once again! I really like the side view as well. The hood scoop was added.

I'm not sure. I'll have to ask him.
He said they didn't make 440 valve cover decals.

That makes sense.
