If you are signed to a promoter directly without a manager, then the promoter takes nothing from you. That might change when your minimums go away if it isn't covered in the contract. If fans want to study anything, study the business of itself and some of these fights will start making sense to them when they take place. Al can make you money, but does that apply to all 200 of his fighters? I would disagree with you. Each one of those fighters have different circumstances. Some get a stipend while others may not. Some are kept busy while others are on the shelf. I do admire many of the cards he puts together! I take my hat off to him on that one!

Al Haymon gets his fighters paid...unlike a lot of promoters that take all of the fighter's money - off of the top.
