i love him as an actor but hearing him makes me love him as a human... beautiful educated well rounded human
Watching from Nazareth,palestine
We hosted Badih for an interview on Movie Court a few years back. Felt like a masterclass. Always nice hearing him speak.
He spoke my feelings word by word when describing his experience in Canada and love of Lebanon. Never easy 😢
I was thinking that the Sarde with Charbel Al-Hayek was the best one, but this episode with Badih is by faaaar the best one.
Thank you guys.
Greetings from 🇹🇳 to 🇱🇧
Watching from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
How do you guys only have 91k subscribers? Your interviews are better than Joe Rogan - you two really have a talent for letting guests open up and show their passion and intellect. This interview with Badi3 is honestly one of the best I’ve ever seen.
Also as an American, Badi3’s comment on the lack of belonging here definitely is true. I’d never thought of it in the context of a national sports team, but that’s a brilliant way contrast us with other countries. We don’t unite around our national teams the way countries like Lebanon do, and I think it’s because we’re just too large and diverse. We absolutely do have a sense of belonging when it comes to our cities/regions though - many of which are larger than most countries. While I might not feel a strong sense of belonging as an American, I do feel it within my city. And I think Badi3’s experience is a bit skewed by living in two massive cities like New York and Boston, which are the size of a small country. Come to a medium-size city in America, and you will experience a deep sense of belonging and a strong community.
If I was visiting another country and saw an American, I would not be inclined to talk to them. But if they were wearing a football jersey from my city/state, I would absolutely approach them because I feel a real connection and there is a sense of common experience.
56:41 to whoever came up with the idea of those small edits.... you made my day!
Hitting the nail on the head regarding immigration and the feelings related to it
Hello Sarde family, great thanks for the great show and guest. Badih is an inspiration and talented actor. We missed him in Toronto!
Love this man for many reason and one of them is how humble he is...
I enjoy this sarde so much. It's always a joy to have these discussions, like minded people
this podcast just keeps getting better.
Quel immense artiste! Merci Sarde pour cette découverte ❤️
An inspiration and an incredibly talented individual. Thank you for this
Enjoyed watching the episode..the discussion, the intellectual guest...the topics...all great..time passed...Greeting to allll.
With all due respect, I've lived in the U.S. for 22 years and the sense of belonging is there. Everyone's journey is different so I think it's a personal feeling that everyone experiences differently & it cannot be generalized. Love & respect to Badih & Sarde team.
Agreed! Lived here for 10 years and I have the same feeling. As a matter of fact when we cross the border into Canada we get that bad vibes lol. But when we come back to the US, we are greeted with warmth and a feeling of sincere welcome. My mom wears a hijab and Americans always go out of their way to give her a compliment. When I’m Canada, people are just not as friendly. Also agree on that it is a personal experience for each person ✌🏼
thnaks so much for this amazing podcast and every single episode !
From LA. Very engaging on so many levels. شخص استثنائي indeed. I have trouble watching Lebanese drama because of all the fake drama in it. Not just in the acting in the zoom ins and music often continuous .. so so annoying. That said I haven’t watched him in anything. Thank you Sardé for introducing us to exceptional movers and shakers. And I love the difference of age between you; combing two types of époques in Lebanon. But like the stamp of both of you from films with your appearance like the 50’s I wish you capture that time in Lebanon through I don’t know who. Find them. ❤❤❤
Wow.. ❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 you re-ignite the “Flame Of Hope” .
loved this episode so much. 💙
One of my favorites!
Very interesting episode. Just wanted to interject and say that America has now begun celebrating Indigenous People’s Day in memory of the American Indians instead of Columbus Day :)
Great question regarding art and artist
I think I share the exact same concept of community
Thank u💙
love love love your show and your guest...thank you
he is a very accomplished actor and cultured, educated and respectable

Great episode!!
wow badi3 ma kenna mna3rfek,, chapeaux bas
A beautiful Sarde, Badih is super unique and intellectually interesting.
But I'd love to hear more takes on the "to not being able to separate art from the artists behind it" concept in the future Sarde(s). Yes we don't approve of any of the artist(s) that were found guilty on twisted/fkd up charges neither support overlooking their crimes or their abuse of fame, but does that mean not being able to interact solely with their work? Interesting thing to discuss with people outside/inside the entertainment industry.
Love this podcast!

One of the best Episodes !
From the best ever sarde episodes, kenet serid with out even feeling the time because of you sleeping at 5 am tomorrow trouble in work 😂
nada abou farhat next!
👌
Watching from San Diego CA ❤
Respect ❤
I love how he said «art is the scariest»
Badih nous sommes fiers de toi
Amazing sarde bravo 😍🙏👍
Enjoyed watching!! How about interview Elie Basil one time ?!
Love it!
Badi3 is right i have been in Canada almost 25 years yes i feel that i belong here. In US no. Exactly i feel myself in the middle i cannot live in lebanon but i would like one day but i cannot leave Canada because i like it also.
Any idea where we can purchase or watch the play?
I like the way he talk ❤️
I like this 👏
Living off grid is liberation. Communities in harmony
He's the best lebanese actor in my opinion ❤
Great episode ! btw about the aboriginal theory about the nature and allergies that is true, if you watch the documentary series "Discovering the Unknown - the amazon" by Loay Al Otaibi for al jazeera documentaries, he shows that about the indigenous people and their way of living like thousands of years ago !
We can also use it to mean : inhabitant of a place (any place).
You can consult the dictionary!
@@ysalha3504 so it seems you didn't watch the episode and you throwing a comment :)
Great 👏🏾👏🏾

Very intersting
Best lebanese actor, good job guys👍
The part where you asked if he changes the script reminds me of joey tribiany 😂

Great sardé !! Thank u Badih you’re a deep brilliant person & great actor👏 though I disagree with u that Lebanese women don’t recognize an abusive relationship and that they seek it & that they perceive a men who treats them wrong as sexy … Maybe a small portion do , but I don’t think the majority of women are enablers . I know u respect women a lot and perhaps u didn’t mean it that way but I felt that I should express my thoughts. All the best for you 🙏💕
