Hey Tristan! I really find this information useful but if i approach a business owner and tell him about the potential of a website...he doesnt really find it useful or interesting. What would i tell them if they say "i dont need a website, im already doing pretty well for my business" or "my business is already doing well through word of mouth" etc...
Whenever I’m met with this question, I simply ask if they have room for more clients. If they say yes, present them with your offer, if they say no, then you probably can’t help them anyway. The aim of your first conversation is to secure a meeting, not to really mention their website or sell them a website.
@@tristanparker but im a beginner in this business and i know some business owners as relatives so should i offer them a free website beforehand for experience and with direct contact?
@@EpicGamer-fc2jp sure, offering a free website if great for experience. I would aim to get a real testimonial from them, and maybe even a google review. That way you’re getting a lot from the project aside from money. Make sure you treat the project like any paid project and try to help them solve a problem they are having within their business, by delivering a custom website

Don't sell the service, sell the benefits.
