It's going to be rough for flunder since Adventure Token will usher in a 15 Maindeck HT kind of format. Even when they aren't affected Maxx "c" the sheer density of HT's in the main will make it hard for them. Especially if they don't get the quickplay spell.

This deck doesn't really lose to lightning storm since they still have dreaming town/map to set up their board again. Imperm/veiler/evenly matched are better against them.

Why no talk of the other trap card that this archetype has? Floowandereeze and the Scary Sea is quite insane. It negates a special summon, bounces the special summoned monster(s), AND locks the opponent out of special summoning for the turn. All for a simply doing what this deck does best, control at least one tribute summoned monster and no special summoned monsters. Sure, it's quite fun to use Dreaming Town to go, "Your turn? You mean OUR turn," but Scary Sea is essentially a one turn Vanity's Emptiness.
I’m a D.Rank MD player myself, but the reason I play YGO is for the back and forth of exciting duels which (weirdly) do seem to create bonds between players. I don’t have a problem with decks like these, as it’s just the meta evolving. But I don’t bother duelling with or against these sort of decks either. Playing tennis against an opponent who has their arms cut off is isn’t very rewarding. But I understand that for many, winning is more important than playing.
I usually don't have problems with any deck on their own because people should be able to play whatever they want regardless of how annoying it can be to others including myself. I don't even have a problem with crutches like DPE to an extent, but I can't stand floodgates, and a floodgate in the form handtrap that covers both turns is dumb. Im not saying D-Shifter is the main problem or bannable because it's definitely not even though I think the card is just really dumb being both turns. It wasn't a problem before because there just wasn't a deck powerful enough where D-Shifter plays well into its own strategy like it can with this deck. Getting Shifted and Wind barried doesnt sound fun turn 1, especially in a BO1 format, it might as well be called Flowondeeznutz Barrier Statue because its an archtype card for them now. I can never hate on Raiza personally because we go way back, but not once in the entire history of this game have I ever been excited nor seen anything exciting that involved a barrier statue and that goes double for MC/DF. I really do like Penguins but this deck goes against the core of my being, this is what it must feel like to see people you care about get Edo Tenseied, how could you Konami? I guess ill be unlocking my Sharaingan real soon because Im about to destroy a whole bunch bonds clappin these wind playing, bird abusing fools!

Its already like that... Rhongo, VFD, OP floodgate traps etc... in a best of one format this is unacceptable. You literally have to be lucky to win by drawing perfectly, no skill. This game will die very soon....
Master duel ban list is so shit anyway, if you lose the coin toss and go 2nd you get those degenerate cards like rhongo, vfd, protos, vanity emptiness, imperial order, that basically says "just surrender lol". When you go 1st you always pray that youre not play againts some cheese deck like numeron or luna kaiju. I dont know what master duel team think when they allow this stale and coin flip meta exist for this long.
I'll take out my droplet on Sky Striker and put Ogre in main deck. It counter adventure engine and it can disrup floo because they need monster to tribute summon.
Yea I’m probably going to take a break from master duel until Konami updates it’s banlist… I refuse to stress over playing against this deck, swordsoul, Dragonmaid, and the Halq/Auroradon first turn combo
That statue card when it's well played through a combo that gives everything to protect it and you couldn't draw any of your negates/destructions, it's beyond dumb. It's literally "give me a win" and that's it, not even getting to play the damn game because your opponent doesn't want you to play at all.

Hey Konami, less toxic OP decks more support for rogue strategies to just make them more viable. Like sea stealth attack 2 and ocean dragon lord kairyu shin. You had the right idea last booster with giving us more agent support.
We need Subterrors to be known for more than Guru control! Give support that makes it viable to run at least half of the Behemoths! Or just in general make the game more of a Rock-Paper-Scissors type game, because right now everyone is playing Paper (Combo), because it's so strong it even stops Scissors (Floodgates, like Eldlich) If you catch my drift.

Normal rifles are stronger than pistols. It might be usable in rogue decks, but the degenerate combo decks are the ones who are gonna abuse it, and once komoney doesn't get extra money from it, are the ones getting it banned.

Anyone else encounter the new bots? 5 card extra deck, actually plays cards ( very slowly). At turn 3(bad hand) when it was time for me to draw, it wouldn't let me, the timer kept going and forced a connection fail.

@@jrpgjunkie8326 In my other decks, i prioritize Superpoly (for DPE) and 3x Token Collector. Speedroid has a really tight extra deck, so i play Kaiju Speedroids (ft. one copy of Fiendmagnet) but i could vary the ratios of the deck.

I have a question for any experienced Floo player; I've been looking forward to this deck quite a lot ever since I saw the kind of plays they can make and been enjoying building various deck lists on YGOmega in anticipation. My question is why does virtually every list run Unexplored Winds and no Scary Sea? Isn't Scary Sea a searchable and recyclable Vanity's Emptiness with Spell Speed 3? So when you open Map (which seems to be nearly always from my testing) you can still play on your opponents turn whilst setting up an instant turn-skip trap; Although I'll admit Map isn't anywhere near as strong as the Trap since it can't come into effect before they normal summon - which they can avoid doing before setting up an Omni-negate via the Adventure Engine which will most likely be running rampant - and you can't use it in response to Lightning Storm/Harpie. If that's the reason why you gotta search Town every time even if you have Map and wouldn't be able to search Scary Sea then I could understand that. Additionally, isn't Unexplored Winds a win-more card that bricks your initial hands whilst improving your follow-up for the next turn, which to me appears to be unnecessary as a full Floo combo will lock out and auto-win against almost any opponent that couldn't open Lightning Storm/Raigeki/Harpie anyways, and Unexplored Winds wouldn't change the situation much if they were able to play through it (correct me if I'm wrong on that). I get that it's a great card when it works, but adding bricks to the deck when it already runs really thin on important cards, only to improve your already winning situations seems a bit needless to me, but since I've never played Floo I must admit that I could be missing the greater picture. I understand that there have to be good reasons as to why every good list out there includes Winds and no Scary Sea, I'm just looking to get a little enlightened on the matter since I haven't played the deck yet.
If you understand the concept of winmore then it shouldn't be a big leap to figure out why Scary Seas isn't played. Barrier Statue can do pretty much the same thing while being far less conditional and letting you still use your backrow search on Town. You also already pointed out the other flaw with it. If your end board is Empen and Scary Seas, the Adventure engine literally outs the whole thing with Seas not even getting a chance to do anything. It just loses to far more things than statue does since it dies to both backrow removal and monster removal on Empen, while also leaving the opponent more room for in-engine counterplay. Unexplored Winds in comparison is far less of a brick as it has an effect that lets you mulligan birds you don't need for better cards. It also serves a unique, relevant purpose in outing problematic cards that the deck struggles with otherwise. Much better going second as well.
@@borzavrl Yeah I figured those might be the reasons why - but since I had no chance to play the deck yet I was only wondering. Scary Seas just seems like such a strong card, despite being a "win-more" card, it's an actual "win instantly" card if you get it to resolve, and with Spell Speed 3 it should resolve basically always if they don't open Lightning Storm/Harpie, but yeah the flaws it has, especially with the adventure engine coming up do make a lot of sense. I'm still not entirely convinced on Unexplored Winds though, I've been messing around with Small World as an extra search tool that is far more versatile in generating birds from non-birds but it's questionable so far due to ratios, a lot of fun using it though! I guess I'll just learn through experience once the deck comes out, thanks :)
@@simao135789 Unexplored Winds is a lot of removal your opponent can't respond to, and can easily get rid of problematic boss monsters that, for example, can't be destroyed by battle. Since it sends to the GY instead of tributing, you're also able to use it to run around floodgates that prevent tributing.

tbf I've been saving up since the fusion event. I couldn't think of a new jank deck to build after completing grass skull servants, so I decided to build my first "meta" deck when the penguins come out.
@@sineupp I've been saving up since before then and I'm still behind, I respect it, especially for Skull Servants. If Advent of Adventure isn't in the pack then I doubt Floo will be more than a rogue deck unfortunately but it'll definitely be able to snag some wins but it has some major flaws that good decks don't have, it really only has the niche of beating Maxx C but otherwise there isn't much to write home about compared to the other meta decks.

Great video bro just make sure next time to put standard ratios when showing core of the deck since empen is played at 2 and toccan on 1 also gold sarch is very common and you didn't mention it as well as dimensional fissure. Btw instead of advent you could play jack in the hand instead.
I just have one question if anyone could help to answer would be great! During the duel, at some point my Empen was banished. Then I try to normal summon toccan, but the game does not shows that I can choose the banished Empen. I kinda confuse, toccan effect suppose to be “You can target 1 of your banished "Floowandereeze" cards; add it to your hand,” Is there’s something I missed ?
Crossout Designator is overpowered in the deck, if you don't draw Robina but have the trap or field spell, use Crossout on Robina, then on your opponents turn, normal summon which adds your Robina which you banished on your turn to hand and starts the combo on your opponent's turn. So it's a starter and a counter to Floo counters all in one.
lol ran into a version of this deck. Needless to say killing the field spell and backrow to shutdown the summon during you turn thing, at least until they get annoyed enough about it.

This is why I made a zombie world deck and floowandereeze deck. I love both decks but one can put a stop to the “floo” pandemic. Also, for players who wanna banish floo cards but wanna have some negates for hand traps use cross out for negating either hand traps or banishing your Floos before you use your normal summon. Enjoy the floowandereeze adventure before the meta shifts
Yeah that card is just infuriating. As soon as I cross out or called by an ash they Maxx c for a bunch of undeserved draws and win from advantage or I just give up. Sometimes you just have to negate an ash or else you lose because you can't get any plays going, but Maxx c punishes you for just making a common sense play. I lost like 2 games in a row yesterday because of this. But since the yu-gi-oh community is toxic they only say "not skilled enough", or "just draw a 1 or 2 of in a 40 card deck", whenever you bring up the games flaws. Or my favorite excuse "play a better deck".

usually ash and imperm get negatted the first time we activated robina or eagle. So I put my rite of adventure in this deck, lol. So I can have 2 engines, while the other dead, I can play the other one. And it works really well against mirror match too.
Really an annoying deck especially when they use dimension shifter and it does not bother them at all. Literally just an even more toxic deck than true draco

i can stay in around gold V and then i end up waiting for those 1st turn kills and i just end up surrendering or when i see that baronne de fleur
we've finally evolved from bird girl meta to just bird meta, and frankly i cant tell which is more annoying so i'll meet in the middle and say eldlich
Nonetheless I will still proudly run my lyrisuc/ tri-brigade deck with pride.
I know a lot of the cards lock you out of special summoning, but bird-girls with birds might be fun for casual play.

Oh boy, 2 archtypes I hate back to back. I sure do love modern yugioh.We got the easiest combo in the game Sword soul. We got the most annoying lockdown decks called Floowandereez. Boy these past 3 months suck for master duel
Anyone else encounter the new bots? 5 card extra deck, actually plays cards ( very slowly). At turn 3(bad hand) when it was time for me to draw, it wouldn't let me, the timer kept going and forced a connection fail.
I have met something similar where my clock keeps going but I can't do anything
I prefer to run cards like Lose 1 Turn since you won't really be special summoning with Floowandereeze.
I love how the comment is a collection of people being hopeful, saying they like the deck because of art or something, being disgusted because of the effects, or requesting konami to do something about certain card or archetype.
Joke's on them, Speedroids are Wind Attribute so no probel with the Barrier Statue. Now to run 3x Twin Twisters for the backrow.

Speedroid has a really tight extra deck, so i play Kaiju Speedroids (ft. one copy of Fiendmagnet) but i could vary the ratios of the deck.

I have a question for any experienced Floo player; I've been looking forward to this deck quite a lot ever since I saw the kind of plays they can make and been enjoying building various deck lists on YGOmega in anticipation.
My question is why does virtually every list run Unexplored Winds and no Scary Sea?
Isn't Scary Sea a searchable and recyclable Vanity's Emptiness with Spell Speed 3? So when you open Map (which seems to be nearly always from my testing) you can still play on your opponents turn whilst setting up an instant turn-skip trap; Although I'll admit Map isn't anywhere near as strong as the Trap since it can't come into effect before they normal summon - which they can avoid doing before setting up an Omni-negate via the Adventure Engine which will most likely be running rampant - and you can't use it in response to Lightning Storm/Harpie. If that's the reason why you gotta search Town every time even if you have Map and wouldn't be able to search Scary Sea then I could understand that.
Additionally, isn't Unexplored Winds a win-more card that bricks your initial hands whilst improving your follow-up for the next turn, which to me appears to be unnecessary as a full Floo combo will lock out and auto-win against almost any opponent that couldn't open Lightning Storm/Raigeki/Harpie anyways, and Unexplored Winds wouldn't change the situation much if they were able to play through it (correct me if I'm wrong on that). I get that it's a great card when it works, but adding bricks to the deck when it already runs really thin on important cards, only to improve your already winning situations seems a bit needless to me, but since I've never played Floo I must admit that I could be missing the greater picture.
I understand that there have to be good reasons as to why every good list out there includes Winds and no Scary Sea, I'm just looking to get a little enlightened on the matter since I haven't played the deck yet.
If you understand the concept of winmore then it shouldn't be a big leap to figure out why Scary Seas isn't played. Barrier Statue can do pretty much the same thing while being far less conditional and letting you still use your backrow search on Town.
You also already pointed out the other flaw with it. If your end board is Empen and Scary Seas, the Adventure engine literally outs the whole thing with Seas not even getting a chance to do anything. It just loses to far more things than statue does since it dies to both backrow removal and monster removal on Empen, while also leaving the opponent more room for in-engine counterplay.
Unexplored Winds in comparison is far less of a brick as it has an effect that lets you mulligan birds you don't need for better cards. It also serves a unique, relevant purpose in outing problematic cards that the deck struggles with otherwise. Much better going second as well.
@@borzavrl Yeah I figured those might be the reasons why - but since I had no chance to play the deck yet I was only wondering. Scary Seas just seems like such a strong card, despite being a "win-more" card, it's an actual "win instantly" card if you get it to resolve, and with Spell Speed 3 it should resolve basically always if they don't open Lightning Storm/Harpie, but yeah the flaws it has, especially with the adventure engine coming up do make a lot of sense.
I'm still not entirely convinced on Unexplored Winds though, I've been messing around with Small World as an extra search tool that is far more versatile in generating birds from non-birds but it's questionable so far due to ratios, a lot of fun using it though! I guess I'll just learn through experience once the deck comes out, thanks :)
@@simao135789 Unexplored Winds is a lot of removal your opponent can't respond to, and can easily get rid of problematic boss monsters that, for example, can't be destroyed by battle. Since it sends to the GY instead of tributing, you're also able to use it to run around floodgates that prevent tributing.

tbf I've been saving up since the fusion event. I couldn't think of a new jank deck to build after completing grass skull servants, so I decided to build my first "meta" deck when the penguins come out.

If Advent of Adventure isn't in the pack then I doubt Floo will be more than a rogue deck unfortunately but it'll definitely be able to snag some wins but it has some major flaws that good decks don't have, it really only has the niche of beating Maxx C but otherwise there isn't much to write home about compared to the other meta decks.

Great video bro just make sure next time to put standard ratios when showing core of the deck since empen is played at 2 and toccan on 1 also gold sarch is very common and you didn't mention it as well as dimensional fissure. Btw instead of advent you could play jack in the hand instead.

During the duel, at some point my Empen was banished. Then I try to normal summon toccan, but the game does not shows that I can choose the banished Empen. I kinda confuse, toccan effect suppose to be
“You can target 1 of your banished "Floowandereeze" cards; add it to your hand,”

Crossout Designator is overpowered in the deck, if you don't draw Robina but have the trap or field spell, use Crossout on Robina, then on your opponents turn, normal summon which adds your Robina which you banished on your turn to hand and starts the combo on your opponent's turn.
So it's a starter and a counter to Floo counters all in one.

Yeah i would love that too but sadly it's not happening. You counter them with Zombie World and put up Scythe lock with 3+ negates consistently against other decks. Nasty stuff

This is why I made a zombie world deck and floowandereeze deck. I love both decks but one can put a stop to the “floo” pandemic. Also, for players who wanna banish floo cards but wanna have some negates for hand traps use cross out for negating either hand traps or banishing your Floos before you use your normal summon.

Yeah that card is just infuriating. As soon as I cross out or called by an ash they Maxx c for a bunch of undeserved draws and win from advantage or I just give up. Sometimes you just have to negate an ash or else you lose because you can't get any plays going, but Maxx c punishes you for just making a common sense play. I lost like 2 games in a row yesterday because of this. But since the yu-gi-oh community is toxic they only say "not skilled enough", or "just draw a 1 or 2 of in a 40 card deck", whenever you bring up the games flaws. Or my favorite excuse "play a better deck".
@@TrueDokkanGod i feel your pain man, my biggest issue with Maxx "c" is how out of the game it feels, draw cards in yugioh are broken and always have restiction on them yet this shitty card doesn't, a full turn stop even if you have plays that's unfair -_-
and another thing i hate about the shitty card is when you go second and your opponent has a full board with powerful boss monsters and he drops Maxx "c" during the draw phase and you be sitting there not knowing what the fuck to do.
We need a proper ban list VFD, Rohngo, Maxx "c" and Imperial order need to be on it

@@relinquished6974 it's literally exactly the same, because the cards you have to respond to that sequence of effects are equally as powerful as those cards themselves. It's just a matter of scale. If you are playing Axe Raider Beatdown against a deck spamming out monsters then yeah it seems OP.

usually ash and imperm get negatted the first time we activated robina or eagle. So I put my rite of adventure in this deck, lol. So I can have 2 engines, while the other dead, I can play the other one. And it works really well against mirror match too.

Idk why people are against adding a Bo3 mode, nobody is forcing you to play it if it's added. Nobody is saying remove the Bo1
