Eagles are the best football team in the NFL, the phillies will be the best MLB team in a year or two, the sixers might already be the best NBA team, and the flyers are ready to unleash the full power of the number 1 prospect pool in the NHL next season. The eagles are the best team in the NFL right now and are set up to remain that way for years to come. You can keep living in the past if you want, but I prefer to look to the future. The Eagles are reigning super bowl champions after beating the team that routinely embarrasses the steelers every season.
The Phillies are a lot better than you might think, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were in the playoffs this year.
And the Sixers are on a 17 game winning streak without their best player, hard to call that overrated.
My dream is to see 2 of my fav teams in eastern finals ( lighting vs penguins)
That happened literally two playoffs ago. When Pittsburgh played San Jose in the SC Finals they had to go through Tampa Bay in the ECF in 7 games.

Crosby would never survive in the era Gretzky played. It was a far tougher game, and refs let a lot more go. Crosby is way too soft to ever play that sort of style. He'd be absolutely clobbered night in and night out.
