Such a incredible performance from Heath ledger .. as the joker , it’s so incredibly tragic that playing the Joker cost him his life ..we lost a true legend RIP Heath ledger you will , always be remembered
I don't think playing that role cost him his life, stresfull and intense roles are the base of good actors. He was simply an abuser of medication, that used to mix drugs and someday took it too far. I agree it's a very intense character, but he himself said it was fun to portrait him. If we follow your line of thought Joaquin Phoenix should be put in suicide watch.
He died before they even released TDK. His other roles were way different than the best acting performance ever done in cinema history (my opinion). He’s my favorite actor too
@@jennyone8829 I met him in NYC prior to this film, only knew him from the patriot, my sister knew him from ten things I hate about you. When I saw he was cast, I remembered how shy he was in person, didn’t know how he’d play it. Saw the trailer, knew it was perfection, and then bam, we got the news…
The best Joker since the first Joker played by Cesar Julio Romero, Jr. in the 1966. Heath Ledger took the torch and carried it, he didn't try to redefine nor expand upon an already established character. Instead he refined it, boiled Joker down to his most iconic pure elements and used them to define the role, he paid tribute to what was already there and done so well by those before him.

I loved your masterful edit, compiling the scenes and meshing the quotes together so perfectly, this was a perfect character and one of the best acting performances in history
One day you'll have survived enough to realise that the nights that almost didn't pass were only mornings that came in early ; that the battles you thought you lost were really just wins you didn't see coming , that the forevers you couldn't meet were all infinities you chose not to protect . One day you'll have lived enough to walk down the memory lane in little steps instead of the usual strides and skips . One day you'll have fallen enough to realise that your wounds have now become wings and your pain , power . One day you'll have hurt enough to understand that your heart has only ever learnt to forgive . One day you'll have grown enough to acknowledge every moment of weakness as a lifetime of strength one day you'll have grown enough to remember the things that broke you as destinies that saved you . One day you'll have felt everything enough to realise that every feeling at every point has always , always been just enough ❤️🔥
This was a lovely tribute, thank you for making it. It didn’t sink in for a while after seeing this film in the theater what a profound and thoughtful film it was. Not just as a Batman movie or as a superhero movie, but just as a movie. The whole Batman vehicle was just a framework for saying things about society that might have taken a lot longer to spell out without the ready shorthand of the preestablished Batman mythos.
You did an amazing job with this. I shared it to the collector freaks forum and hopefully you'll get a ton of more views because it definitely needs it. Thank you for your hard work of the greatest Joker ever
I used to envy the joker so much. Thats how dark my life was back then. Now I envy Iron Man haha, but i'll never forget how much I wanted to be like the joker.
Heath Ledger did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying The Joker as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role as he gave The Joker a different charterization and interpretation for the audiences as it makes them think outside of the box such as identifies and analyzes certain subjects in life.😍😎👍💯🤔
HELLA UNDERRATED Edit: This is such an amazing tribute. Everyday I come back and this not only is a tribute but it’s inspiration to many people and every single time it gives me chills
FROM ALL OF THE JOKERS THAT EVER EXISTED NONE WILL BE AMAZING AS HEATH HE TOOK THE JOKER TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH HIS AMAZING QUOTES HIS MINDGAMES (R.I.P HEATH LEDGER) LEGENDS NEVER DIE
"Do i really look like a guy with a plan? I’m like a dog chasing cars, I wouldn’t know what to do if I caught one, you know, I just do…things." .... Joker
A role so big it made the actor heath ledger literally turn into the joker, rip to a incredible actor and a tremendous performance. It's a wonder films don't seem to hit as hard today when he left the bar so fucking high.
Why, why, why is the Joker, so appealing, but so is the Batman. I often believe to be both, would be, the ultimate mentality, no matter how much they should clash, conflict eachother, and not mix. Both, Archetypes, are the top of their respective chains.
The joker showed us that there isn't any difference between heroes and villains.both of them want everyone to stop hurting.... They just use different methods.
The joker is a iconic figure in eny film but heath ledger did not die because of the roll he had depression and it all stemmed from that the film had finished by the time he sadly took his own life i Lv this man from the crow and everyone of his films he’s ever done he was a amazing man with such amazing talent and ability’s to make your favourite movies one of the best to experience and he was the most kind man as well

Now I can relate to.more villians than heroes
